Entertainment Weekly has just compiled its list of the "10 Breakout Stars of 2008."

The list includes some obvious names, some losers no one really cares about, and one bitch. Literally.

So, who ranked among the Top 10 of '08?

Well Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson made the list. How couldn't he?

And sharing the glory is Demi Lovato. Selena Gomez has been around for a bit, but Demi definitely broke out this year.

As for a surprising name, that goes to Chelsea Handler. She's been around even longer than Selena, but this too was her yeat.

Also making the list is Angel, the 4 year-old chihuahua from Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

These Disney cuties have!

Though work commitments and their super busy schedules have kept them apart, Selena Gomez (left) and Demi Lovato got to catch up and spend some quality time together this past weekend.

The BFFs were snapped doing what normal teens do, going to McDonald's and giggling about boys.

Or were they just talking shit about Miley and cackling up a storm???

Probably both!

Is it just us or does it smell like fish around here????

After selling 2.9 million copies of their debut album, PCD, the Pussy Cat Dolls' sophomore release, Doll Domination, has debuted on the U.S. album charts at a dismal #5 for its first week of sales, moving just 74,000 units.

New Disney princess Demi Lovato, however, easily outsold the Dolls with 89,000 copies of her first album, Don't Forget, scoring her a #2 place on the charts.

The Kings of Leon also beat the Pussycat Dolls, selling 74,353 records of their new album, Only By The Night.

Doesn't look good for the Dolls.

Their second week sales should be even worse!

Demi Lovato fell - hard - while opening for the Jonas Brothers in Chicago on Sunday night.

The Disney singer tripped and totally ate the floor.

She fell so hard, she needed the help of two stagehands to lift her up!

Thankfully, though, Lovato wasn't seriously injured. And, she played it off pretty well.
