Ellen Pompeo must be afraid of those rabid James Bond fans!
On November 5, Ellen apologized once AGAIN for comments she made about Daniel Craig's announcement that he would rather "slit his wrists' than continue to be a part of the beloved franchise. In response to Daniel's dramatic words, the actress said he needed a "reality check".
Obviously, Craig's fans did NOT like the Grey's Anatomy star's assessment and they quickly went on the attack.
While the mom apologized in face of all the backlash, she's now setting the record straight once and for all, saying:
"Listen, I feel bad about that. That was a morning where I was all caffeine-d up, as I usually am at 7 a.m., and I was…scrolling through my Twitter, and I was seeing all this stuff about the refugees fleeing and drowning in the ocean. And then an article about his comments was in my Twitter feed."
Seems fair enough! We've all had regrettable Twitter moments!
In case you missed it, the Spectre actor revealed in a new interview, "I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists" before playing Bond again.
So when Ellen heard, she took to Twitter, slamming his statement:
Considering the actress has been on Grey's Anatomy for ten years, it's not hard to imagine why exactly she might be upset.
You don't bite the hand that feeds you, ya know??
Though when a few Twitter users pointed out that maybe there was more to the story, Ellen basically backtracked, saying:
Money in the bank!
That's because both of the actresses earned $28.5 million in 2015, according to the most recent Forbes list of highest-paid TV actresses!
This marks four straight years that Vergara has been the highest-paid actress on TV thanks to her role on Modern Family. And Cuoco-Sweeting, who reportedly earns $1 million per episode of The Big Bang Theory, joins Vergara at the top this year!
Rounding out the list,
Shonda Rhimes believes in the power of love!
During a press junket on Tuesday, the Grey's Anatomy creator defended her decision to kill off Patrick Dempsey's beloved character Derek Shepherd.
While some fans are still getting over McDreamy's tragic death, Rhimes revealed she had to kill him off because it was the only way to preserve the love between him and Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo)!
Speaking at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, the 45-year-old explained the alternative would go against everything the show set up, saying:
"What were the options? Either Der was going to walk out on Mer and leave her high and dry, and what was that going to mean? That would suggest the love wasn't true, the thing we had said for 11 years was a lie."
Rhimes explained that McDreamy's death was the only way he could leave his wife, continuing:
All of this hype and now it's finally here!
We were so excited to see Taylor Swift's music video Bad Blood, which opened the Billboard Music Awards. While it showcased Swifty's fabulous and gorgeous friends, it also showcased their mad fighting skillz!
The video opens with a kickass fight scene starring Taylor, of course, and then it intro'd Kendrick Lamar, who was a fantastic choice for the remix though!
Ch-ch-check it out (above) and see how many times you can spot her costars:
Just when you thought Grey's Anatomy couldn't get any sadder than last week's tear-jerker death, Meredith had to break the news to all her Seattle Grace friends that her hubby was dead.
It can't be easy dealing with something like that, but Meredith mustered up the courage to tell them, in a very heavyhearted episode filled with a few more twists. You can see how Meredith handles the situation in the video (above).
The biggest twist came at the end of the episode — SPOILERS!!! — when…
***Spoiler Warning — But Let's Be Real, You Already Know What Happened***
If you've somehow dodged the water cooler talk of the week, then you may not know what happened on Grey's Anatomy last Thursday.
However, we're pretty sure that most of you are aware that the ABC drama said goodbye to one of its main cast members in the most recent episode, and we're even more sure that a lot of you were upset by it.
And while your anger and petitions are warranted, one of Shonda Rhimes' leading ladies is finally speaking about how the major death is going to effect her role on the show.
