Rashida Jones did exit Toy Story 4 early on in the project's development, but it wasn't because she was creeped out by Pixar co-founder John Lasseter.

The Angie Tribeca star and her writing partner Will McCormack issued a joint statement on the nature of their departure from the animated film following Lasseter's announcement that he will be stepping down from his position as head of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation.

After the animator's memo to staff went public, multiple allegations surfaced detailing years of Lasseter making his employees uncomfortable with unwanted hugs and inappropriate touching.

oliver stone responds melissa gilbert harassment claim

Oliver Stone feels he has no need to apologize.

As we previously reported, two women have come forward to accuse the acclaimed director of misconduct in response to the powerhouse's controversial Harvey Weinstein stance. Not only did former Playboy playmate Carrie Stevens accuse the director of groping her at a party, but actress Melissa Gilbert told Andy Cohen that Stone harassed her during an audition for The Doors.

While Oliver has backtracked his Weinstein remarks, he REFUSES to acknowledge that he did anything wrong amid The Doors audition. In case you missed it, per Melissa's account, the Hollywood heavyweight forced Gilbert to perform a scene he wrote specifically for her where she had to get on her hands and knees and say, "Do me, baby." She says she left the audition in tears.

The Snowden director has since addressed the controversy, as he noted in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter:

greta gerwig letters lady bird music late night interview

Greta Gerwig is all of us.

On Monday, the Lady Bird director stopped by Seth Meyers' Late Night and opened up about how she got Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, and Justin Timberlake to license their music for her film. And, despite being a celebrated artist herself, Miz Gerwig fangirled like crazy in her letters to the A-listers.

In all three letters, Greta praised the musicians for their musical genius — let's just say it's utter perfection. However, the note that stood out to us the most was definitely the one Gerwig penned for Timberlake. Not only did she tell the pop sensation that his music corresponded with her "very awkward puberty," but she also informed him that she "pretty much wouldn't be an adult without" him.

Sounds like Disney has been using all its Fantasia brooms to sweep years of in-house drama under the rug.

On Tuesday, John Lasseter stepped down from his position as head of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation after acknowledging "missteps" in which he made his employees "feel disrespected or uncomfortable" over the years.

After the executive shared the memo to his staff, tongues began to wag about the type of environment Lasseter ran at the imaginative company — which, according to sources, included lots of inappropriate touching. Though it wasn't just company employees Lasseter apparently made feel uncomfortable.

According to a Hollywood Reporter source, Rashida Jones — who is credited as a writer on Toy Story 4 with her then-partner Will McCormack — exited the project early on after Lasseter made an unwanted advance toward her.

Disney declined to comment on the alleged incident, however a studio source told THR that Jones's departure was over "creative differences."

Unlike Jones, unfortunately, Pixar employees couldn't walk away from the co-founder's alleged behavior. One longtime company employee said Lasseter was just as well known for hugging employees as he was for "grabbing, kissing, making comments about physical attributes."

Multiple sources say some women at Pixar routinely turned their heads quickly when encountering him to avoid his kisses. Others even used a move dubbed "the Lasseter" to
