If you're looking to buy a brand new fur coat on Etsy, then you're out of luck!
For a long time, the popular online marketplace has been the perfect place for people to buy and sell homemade goods.
But the website recently announced they would no longer allow the sale of products made from endangered or threatened species of animals!
That means any product containing fur, ivory, teeth, or bones of any animal protected by the US Endangered Species Act is strictly prohibited! The site will also ban the sale of anything made from threatened animals, like gorillas, bears, and jaguars!
We DEFINITELY think this is a good move if it discourages people from hunting endangered species for a profit, but it will be interesting to see how it affects the site overall.
And don't worry, guys. You can still buy all of the Cabbage Patch Kidswigs you want! LOLz!
Well, the reason for that is because there were two Best Actress envelopes. One was in Emma Stone's possession, while the other was mistakenly given to Mr. Beatty.
PricewaterCoopers, the accounting firm that oversees the envelopes, now explains that two of their reps, Martha Ruiz and Brian Cullinan, were stationed on both sides of the stage. Both also had their own briefcase containing envelopes of all the winners.
Ruiz handed off the Best Actress envelope when it was time to announce the award, the penultimate of the night, and then immediately following that, when Best Picture was about to be announced, Cullinan also handed off his duplicate of the Best Actress envelope. OOPS!!!
