Fellow Gleeks! The time has come. Good to his word, Ryan Murphy has not entertained a single celebrity on the show for the first half of the season. It's been all about the kids of New Directions and how they're lives are changing in their senior year. But to that end, the embargo is being lifted come January and we can't say that we mind in the slightest.
During Santana's coming out of the flannel closet party, we were introduced to her narrow-minded Abuela, but not her supportive parents, who according to Santana, were nothing if not supportive of their lesbian daughter. Now, we've learned the reason why they remained in the shadows - Ryan Murphy was securing the ultimate diva to play opposite Naya Rivera as her mom:
