Sounds like one cranky rock star woke up on the wrong side of the bed today!

Or maybe we just assume that because Billie Joe Armstrong's hair screams bed-head, LOLz!!

For reasons we cannot fathom, the Green Day punk rocker is throwing down the gauntlet and everyone's favorite international superstar — Psy!!!

On Billie's official Instagram account, the rehab veteran posted a pic of Psy's famous horsie dance with this caption:

"This dude is the herpes of music. Once you think it's gone, it comes back. #herpes #flareup"

Whoa!!! HERPES!!?! That's no bueno!!

The Gangnam Style singer, amazing samaritan that he is, shrugged the shade right the eff off!!

Green Day is back!

The band of rockers performed for a sold out crowd on Sunday for the first time since frontman Billie Joe Armstrong's onstage meltdown and resulting rehab stint last fall.

The award winning musicians returned with a rock n' roll bang at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA in preparation for their American tour.

Even though Billie has admitted that maintaining sobriety is tough, he appeared to be back to his old, energetic self.

Hopefully the stress of the tour won't cause any old habits to flare up again!

Just take it one day at a time, Billie.

Do you ever wonder what it's like to go through withdrawal after a decade of substance abuse?

Well, we hope you never have to find out first hand, like Billie Joe Armstrong did after his meltdown at the iHeartRadio festival last year. We're glad he's open about it instead of having to find out for ourselves!

Here's what he said:

In the March issue of Rolling Stone, Green Day's frontman talks about how alcohol and prescription drugs took over his life, and about his onstage meltdown at the iHeartRadio festival in Sin City last september.

If you've seen one documentary about a punk band turning their politically charged album into a smash-hit on Broadway, you've seen them all!

Actually, you probably weren't thinking that, because this ah-mazing confluence of events is totally unprecedented!

Green Day, however, always rocks outside the box!!

Maroon 5 is certainly feeling the love tonight.

The band is riding high as they were named the Favorite Band at The 2013 People’s Choice Awards!

After being up against powerhouse bands like Green Day, Linkin Park, No Doubt and Train, Maroon 5 accepted the award given by the fans.

Frontman and The Voice coach Adam Levine did the honors of thanking the fans and listeners for continuing to support them.

Congratz, guys!

It hasn't been the best year for fans of Billie Joe Armstrong, what with his meltdown and the subsequent announcement he would be heading to rehab.

But tomorrow is a brand new Green Day!

At least, that's what the singer/songwriter says! He shared a series of notes on the band's website thanking the true blue green fans and promising a better 2013!
