Green Day has been killing it for years.
So it’s no wonder they were given the World Icon Award at the MTV EMAs! Of course, the rock group couldn’t help but take a shot at the intense election drama that’s going on in the U.S. right now. Not only did G.D. say they were HAPPY to be out of the States, but they also performed American Idiot!
