It's a race to the finish line!

Congrats to Marwell Zoo in the UK!
A super adorbz baby pygmy hippo was born on December 13th, weighing in at 13 pounds.
The 6-inch-tall baby girl is so super cute and so super tiny!!!
They've named her Gloria and it totally works because she's glorious!
Baby Gloria is important because she's part of the European Endangered Breeding Programme (EEP).
The Team Leader for Small Mammals at Marwell said:
"We think 'Gloria' really suits our new arrival. We wanted something that will fit well with her mum’s name ‘Wendy’ and we think they are great together!
Gloria has now had a swim with Mum and we are very happy with how it went. Keepers will always stand by to make sure she doesn’t get into trouble, but Wendy is very experienced and keeps a close eye on her at all times."
Awwww! That's so precious! Wendy is a great mama to little Gloria.
We are seriously about to charter a plane directly to this zoo just so we can press our face up against the glass of the hippo enclosure.
Too stankin' cute! Check out a video of the baby hippo just adorbzing around AFTER THE JUMP!!
We're hungry for more pictures of Hippos!!
Czech Republic's Ostrava Zoo welcomed a new addition to its family recently, and it's an adorable one!!
The new addition is a healthy baby Hippo boy, and he looks like he's going to grow up and be REALLY big and SUPER strong!!!
We're not sure what the little guy's name is yet, but it sounds like he's got great genetics going for him.
His mama Katka has already raised ten of his hippo brothers and sisters, and his pop-pop Honza, at 46-years-old, is the oldest Hippo in all of Europe!
You're in good hands, kid!
Or wait is it hooves? They kind of look almost like… well, anyway, check more cute pictures (below) !!!

Oh no!! Ireland Baldwin was just trying to take a Vine selfie when suddenly she was attacked!!
A wild hippo came out of nowhere and tried to gobble up her face!!
Wait a minute… that doesn't look like a real hippo… LOLz!
We don't know why Ireland was playing with a stuffed hippo puppet, but we don't care, because it's adorable.
What's more adorbz is her interaction with the cutie! She should be a ventriloquist!
Check out the video (above) to see a cutie hippo attack a beautiful young woman!!
Zoo Basel in Switzerland just welcomed a new baby hippo on July 17th!!
22-year-old mama Helvetia gave birth to the little babe in a ditch in her outdoor enclosure.
After the wee baby was born, 23-year-old Wilhelm, the papa, tried to sneak a peak at his baby, but mama Helvetia was having none of that!
She kept shooing him away, because she's super protective of her new baby.
What's crazy is the baby has to dive underwater to be able to drink his mama's milk! He resurfaces every 30 seconds for a breath of fresh air.
That sounds tiring!!
He'll be eating solid foods in a few weeks, but for now, it's all about diving down and getting a meal.
The baby hippo is the tenth baby for the hippo parents but he's still just as special and unique as any of the other babies!!

Paul Templer was a travel guide who used to take tourists down the Zambezi River.
While in Zimbabwe, when leading a kayak tour group down the river near Victoria Falls, there was a hippo attack.
The hippo overturned the kayak of one of his clients.
As he went to help the tourist, he was suddenly attacked himself.
Before he knew what was going on, he realized he was headfirst, down the throat of a hippo!!
Ooooh…looks like this little babe is in trawble!!!!
A pygmy hippo at the Lowry Park Zoo finally has a name and she is loving life!
Zola is the second hippo birth in the zoo's history and Zsa Zsa is making sure her cutie is big and strong.
Except when she takes an unsupervised swim! Then it's time for Mean Mama!
Pygmy hippos are currently listed as endangered so we know Zola is a welcome addition to the fam!
Does anyone remember their first meal? Probably not….but we bet you were super excited about it!
But not as excited as this baby hippo! He can't wait to grab a bite to eat.
He's even practicing on dirt first!
Watch (above) as this baby hippo goes in for his first (of many!) meals!
