We love Beth Ditto, but she's completely off track on this one!

Or, then again, maybe she's not. Maybe she is just using the issue for media attention, which, if that's the case, then she's actually pretty smart.

Either way, the lead singer of The Gossip continues her tirade against Katy Perry, responding to Katy's recent opinion that she is not "impressed" with Beth Ditto. The feeling is most definitely mutual, as Beth explains to Spinner that she still feels Katy's success with I Kissed A Girl is "offensive to gay people".

Says Ditto, "I don't care if she writes a song about kissing a girl, but there are people who kiss girls in their everyday life, and it's not as easy as just kissing a girl and everyone loving you. It'd be really rad to hear her talk about something like that."

At the heart of it, Beth is trying to shed light on the hypocrisy of the industry, stating: "It's not about Katy Perry. It's about this song and its innocence on her part. To [Katy], it's just this party song. But as a gay person, it's like, 'Oh, of course this straight person singing about kissing a girl goes straight to Top 40 and people buy this record. Who can give a fuck about real gay people?' That's what's really painful about the whole thing. That's what makes me laugh about 'I'm not impressed.' It's like, 'Oh, that's what you think? Of course, because you never thought about what a real gay person feels, and the impact that a song like that has on the gay world in a time of crucial civil rights.' That's just one of the examples of what the mainstream is thinking about queer culture, when actually, we are completely fighting for our rights right now."

Maybe Beth and Katy should talk it out. We think Beth is coming from a good place, but if she really talked to Katy, she would realize how stupid this whole thing is.

Or maybe there would be an awesome cat fight!

Either way, we're down!

We enjoy both parties involved but….

The Jonas Brothers were on the BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge today and they completely destroyed Katy Perry's gorgeous ballad Thinking Of You.

It really was painful to listen to!

Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy, who recently "reunited" with girlfriend Katy Perry, was seen leaving Jet nightclub with two classy young ladies hos at 2:30 a.m. earlier this week.

"The girls weren't hot, either," says a spy.

Last week, Perry was talking about how she was charmed by McCoy's "natural swagger."

He needs to keep his "swagger" in check!!!!!

McCoy's rep said, "I was not familiar with that story. It sounds really out of character."

The nerve of some people!

After finishing a show in London last night on her Hello Katy tour, Katy Perry came back to find her bus had been trashed and a thief was rummaging for stuff to steal.

Oh no!

She took to her Twitter to explain:

"some1 just broke into our bus, they got caught. Luckily all there is is glitter, catsuit outfits, fruit & a box set of Ab Fab. Sux fer them."

Ha! It does suck to be them. But they had it coming.

You don't mess with Katy Perez!

Katy Perry was spotted at the Summertime Ball 2009 held at the Emirates Stadium in London on Sunday night. The Waking Up In Vegas singer performed at the Capitol FM bash.

Looking like a younger Dita Von Teese, Katy opted for a red with white polka dots ensemble.

Minnie Mouse is so jealous of her right now!
