Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban just arrived in Sydney for the first time since the birth of their new daughter, Sunday Roast.

This trip is the first time many of their family members have seen the baby, and their stay will be a bit of an extended one. Nicole will be doing some "pick up" shots with Hugh Jackman for her Baz Luhrman-directed film, Australia.

Though the couple have refused to sell pictures of little Sunday Roast, they are finally opening up about her.

In an interview on Thursday with Sydney's Kyle & Jackie O show the couple said the following…..

Nicole said: "Keith and I are also just appealing to the press and stuff to give us a little space so we can walk around Sydney and show the baby our town. Just a little bit because she’s tiny, she’s not a doll, she’s a real little thing. Just not right in our face or her face because it’s scary for her, she’s tiny. A tiny little thing."

Keith said: "I get the interest in it, I get that but at the same time, it’s our little girl and I think sometimes when people come right up in our face and you think, ‘Good god, would you do that to anybody else’s child?’ That’s all and we’re very pleased to be back and we’ve got our little four weeker with us."

Nicole said, "She looks like Keith, I think she does….We’ve brought her back to meet the grandparents. My mum was there with me for the birth but my dad hasn’t met her and Keith’s mum and dad are coming down."

Keith said, "Oh, she’s just awesome. Anybody out there who has kids, it’s just a certain type of feeling you can only experience when you do it but we’re just stoked, she’s awesome."

We kinda understand where they're coming from, but….

Is it gonna happen????

The paps will most likely still hound them and the pics of Sunday Roast will pop up eventually.

Nicole Kidman was spotted in Nashville on Sunday looking impossibly thin.

And she's wearing white! White's not a slimming color.

Maybe working out so much during your pregnancy really does pay off!

Someone's been a naughty naughty girl!

Nicole Kidman's made headlines this week with reports that she's going to give away pictures of her newborn daughter, Sunday Roast, for free.

According to the Australian Media, Nic and husband Keith Urban "don't believe in making deals" for baby pics.

Not true, we're told.

A source close to the situation reveals exclusively to PerezHilton.com that, "Kidman's camp has reached out to several of the celeb mags."

But, we're told, "she wanted too much money" and when she didn't get the price she wanted, she "decided to walk away from negotiations instead of taking a lower dollar figure."

Tisk. Tisk.

Update: Nicole's publicist sent us the following statement.

She says, "I promise you that neither Nicole Kidman, nor her reps, negotiated with ANYONE. Baby photos were never for sale and will never be for sale. We had a bunch of publications approach us and OFFER money. We told them we weren’t in the market! All the usual suspects.

We were never even going to discuss this issue, since it’s pretty tasteless, but the press has been generating the story on its own, so I’d like to set the record straight."

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly turned down multi-million dollar offers for the first pics of their little lady, Sunday Rose Roast.

The Australian media claims they are undecided whether to release a photograph of the newborn, but if they do, it will be for free!

Baby pictures for free????

That's unheard of in Hollywoodland!

Who do they think they are?

A source says, "They don't think it's appropriate to make deals. They are still deciding how they feel about (it) - if and when they will release a photo at all. But they realise there is enormous interest from the public and they are grateful and appreciative of that."

How rude!

Nicole just deprived a 'charity' of millions of dollars.

Is her baby photo even worth millions???

Finally!

The reason(s) why Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban named their bundle of joy Sunday Rose Roast….

Grandpa Kidman told the Australian media that Sunday was the name of Australian artist Sidney Nolan's muse.

Gramps revealed he and Grandma Kidman had suggested it to Keith and Nic. He says, "I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John - she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century. The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it."

The source goes on to report that Sunday Reed was famous for her patronage of the arts, but also for her relationship with Sidney Nolan. Reed and her husband took part in a menage-a-trois type affair with the artist, which lasted nine years in the 1930s and resulted in Sunday becoming Nolan's muse.

Will little Sunday Rose Kidman Urban 'inspire' future artists in the same way?

We kid.

Urban's brother Shane revealed the baby's second name was a tribute to their late grandmother, Rose.

"It's a wonderful wonderful thing, I'm so, so proud," he said.

As for Roast, Perez says, "Sunday is my cheat day where I can eat whatever I want, and a roast sounds yummy this week. So, Sunday Roast Kidman Urban Cruise it is!"

Keith Urban brought pregnant wifey, Nicole Kidman, up on stage at his Chicago concert this past weekend.

The country crooner had the audience sing the Australian actress Happy Birthday.

Nicole just turned 41.

She looked slightly uncomfortable up there on stage and by the attention, but we think that was very sweet of him!
