On Monday evening,Kellan Lutz headed over to the Hammer Museum, where the New Moon premiere afterparty was being held. The only problem was his name wasn't on the list and security didn't recognize him!
Paparazzi footage showed Kellan trying to reason with the guards and explain the situation but ultimately becoming very frustrated and even shouting across the street to some fans: "It’s my party and they aren’t going to let me in!”
At one point, one of the guards and Kellan even got physical and started shoving each other! But before things got too out of hand, the Twi-Hards came to his rescue by chanting "Let him in!"
The hysteria was enough to get him inside and out of sight of the fangirls. Then, when they realized who he was, he was let into the party.
Maybe if he had showed up without his shirt on, he would have had an easier time getting in.
Lucky, lucky Ellen DeGeneres got to sit down with Kellan Lutz for her show today to talk about The Twilight Saga: New Moon. She then offered him a $5,000 check to be donated to charity if he would take his shirt off.
And he wouldn't do it! We're crushed!
But, he did show off his amazing push-up skills instead!
Monday night was the El Lay premiere of the second installment of the Twilight franchise and we're pretty sure fans suffered from heart palpitations after seeing their favorite Twilighters.
We must say all the boys looked quite dapper in their suits and for once R-Patz's hair looked somewhat tame and recently washed. Kellan Lutz was his natural swoon-worthy self and TayTay looks like he and Rob decided to color coordinate for the night. Not that it matters, because he still looks good!
As for the ladies Ashley Greene and Dakota Fanning looked absolutely S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G!
And then there's K-Stew. It was a nice attempt, honey. Next time, don't take hair styling tips from R-Patz. Only he looks good with a messy 'do.
Kellan Lutz revealed to Ryan Seacrest that he was supposed to audition for the role of Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, but he wasn't interested!
He says:
"I was doing [HBO's] Generation Kill and was sent the script in Africa. I put it off, then finally read it and by the time I got back to L.A., they said, 'OK, are you ready to audition for Edward?' I said, 'I don't want to play Edward. He's too complex, too depressing for me.'"
Only after Kellan turned down the audition was he asked to read for the part of Emmett Cullen and he agreed because Emmett is "one of those fun-loving characters" that he enjoys playing.
The hunky actor is confident in his choice when asked if he has any regrets about not auditioning for Edward saying:
"No. Fame is fame. And Rob [Pattinson] is handling it like a champ. Everything that comes with this whole phenomenon is breathtaking. I don't think anybody could prepare you for something like this. I'm so happy with Emmett. I don't care to be famous."
R-Patz is just about the most famous male on the planet and although he's one handsome fella, he surely has the role of Edward to thank for that.
And considering they were inseparable this year, we think he's a big ol' liar!!!!
"Oh. No. Never have been," said Kellan of his alleged romance. "I've known her for six years, and we met again on the set [of 90210], but we shot Abercrombie [catalogs] way back in the day. She's single, and I'm very much single."
And the Twilight hottie doesn't have much of a plan for his future love life!
"I don't really think about who I want to date," he continued. "I kind of fall into situations, and then I'm like 'Oh, I'm dating you now.'"
Yeah, we wouldn't think our beloved Kellan Lutz would pal around with her either. This is one time we are thankful his shirt stayed ON!
Late last week, Lindsay Lohan was seen entering the Crown Bar in Hollywood all smiles - but leaving in tears! The story we're hearing is that LiLo was having a perfectly wonderful time, drinking and hanging with friends, until the bar bill came.
The waitress came over looking for Lindsay to pay for the bottle of Champagne she ordered and Lindsay told the woman to charge Kellan for it!

We know he's in Twilight, but he sure as hell isn't making what Robert Pattinson is banking. Pay for your own damn drinks!
The fact is, she couldn't or, at least, she wouldn't, as she left the bar never having paid the bill - according to some spywitnesses!
You're having a rough time right now, Lindsay, and we sympathize. But c'mon, don't be an asshole!
Too bad he didn't break a sweat, forcing him to walk around SHIRTLESS!!!
Kellan Lutz is currently on The Twilight Saga: New Moon promowhoring tour, going across the country to say hello to fans. Yesterday, we caught up with him in San Fransisco, but that wasn't the only shopping center he visited.
Kellan fit in two appearances, in two different states!!!
He also managed to make it to a signing in Aurora, Illinois, on Tuesday!
Wow! Dedication! We bet the fans really appreciated it.

Pattinson joined his fellow New Moon co-stars for the first day of the Twilight mall tour on Friday at the Hollywood and Highland Center in El Lay, and R-Patz could not keep a straight face!
