The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 was a monster hit this weekend, becoming the fifth biggest opening in box office history.
What? It wasn't THE biggest opening?
Making $139.5 million domestically and $283.5 million worldwide, it brought in an 11% boost since last year's Eclipse.
Meanwhile, the number 2 film, Happy Feet Two is being described as a "disaster," opening with just $22 million - only half of what the 2006 original made. The fact that the movie was pretty costly with its 3D effects, this is a huge fail for Warner Bros.
Whomp whomp!
We know we don't even have to ask, but what did U see this weekend??
Set your alarm clocks, Twi-Hards! After you've stayed up late to go to the midnight screening of Breaking Dawn, you're going to want to make sure you're awake to catch Ellen in the morning!
Only she can bring the whole cast together to recreate a never-before-revealed scene!!!

Despite some lukewarm reviews from critics, Immortals has reportedly debuted to an impressive $32 million from 3,112 domestic locations, and is estimated to make another $25 million through today, which will mean its well on its way to recouping the $75 million invested in the project - and then some!
Sounds like lots of people needed to get their Kellan Lutzfix last night! Ha!
Before its full release, Immortals opened in 900 theaters at midnight, and brought in an impressive $1.4 million! Wowsa!
The action flick is expected to earn $25 to $26 million this weekend, and it MAY beat out Adam Sandler'sJack & Jill…especially since the reviews have been abysmal.
110 minutes of Shirtless Kellan and Henry Cavill? Who WOULDN'T go see this?!?!?!?!?!?
What do U think? Will U be checking out Immortals this weekend???
Because you just can't get enough! Just can't get enough!
You've seen them get their hands dirty, you've seen LOADS of clips from the flick, so about about some revealing stills from Breaking Dawn? How'd you like some of them apples?!
Let's start with the gem we have above! Here,Robert Pattinson is upset. You might say he is .. ANGRY EDWARD! But whatever could be the matter? Maybe it has something to do with that broken bed post. Oh, if only this picture were taken just a few frames earlier, if you catch our drift!!!
There are tons more stills to share, so we put them all in the gallery below for you enjoyment! But don't squeal too much! Save some of that stuff for November 18th!
Check out this new behind-the-scenes look at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, which shows the progression from the first three films.
Titled The Beginning of the End, the video features the cast as well as director Bill Condon who says that the movie is a a "great, great Hollywood romantic melodrama combined with a cool, intense horror movie."
We also get another sneak peek at Edward and Bella's wedding, which KStew says:
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld Judge Vaughn Walker's ruling invalidating Proposition 8 this morning, confirming that the bill is unconstitutional and should be thrown out! Judges Stephen Reinhardt, Michael Daly Hawkins and N. Randy Smith voted 2-1 that passing the bill goes against this country's Constitution and banning same-sex marriage violates the very foundation of freedom this country was built on!
It's a MASSIVE step in the right direction and EXTRAORDINARY news for all those who want to see real change in this country. With that said, the fight is far from over as ProtectMarriage, the backers of Proposition 8, can appeal the decision to a larger panel of the 9th Circuit or go directly to the U.S. Supreme Court.
You know what? We say, "BRING IT ON!!!!" It seems like more and more, the fair and just people of our government are on the side of equality and we whole-heartedly feel like it will be sooner rather than later that we will see same-sex marriage become legal in California!
Rejoice and spread the good news! Equality for all is on its way!!!
