Gas up the Lincoln Continental and get ready to open those suicide doors again because the boys are back in town!
Well, they will be soon anyway…
The Entourage movie is ON and expected to start shooting in January 2014!
Even though initial reports were that some of the guys were holding out for more money, Jerry Ferrara, AKA Turtle, is now saying that no one is demanding a bigger paycheck for the flick!
He told Dan Patrick this morning that their deal to do the film could be finalized as soon as TODAY! Jerry spilled live on-air, saying:
We thought Ari Gold was the king of sealing the deal — could he really be the reason behind the hold-up on the Entourage movie?
Yes! And no!
Sources say the studio offered Jeremy Piven — who won multiple Emmys playing the show's raunchy, high-strung super-agent — a lucrative payday to star in the movie and he readily accepted.
Unfortunately, that paved the way for co-star envy and greediness!!
The boys are soooo almost back in business!
We were totes worried we might not see them reunite on the big screen, but it looks like Ari did work some of his magic and is getting everyone pretty close to the same page.
Okay, so we really don't know who worked what magic, but who cares because Kevin Connolly has revealed that the Entourage film is possibly going to start as soon as this upcoming January!
Mark Wahlberg threw fans for a loop when he revealed the project was halted because of some "greedy" cast members. We're not sure who the greedy party might've been or how the problem is being solved, but Adrian Grenier was more than happy to chime in this weekend about those controversial money matters.
And from what we hear, someone might've been trying to mess with his boys! He posted a message on Instagram:
What is the hold up on making the Entourage movie?!
We would think Ari would be able to work his magic and get this project off the ground!
But according to Mark Wahlberg, the executive producer and inspiration for the former HBO series, the reason for the delay is because some involved with the film are holding out for more money!
While walking through LAX, Mark was asked when production would get going on the long-awaited big screen reunion for Vince and the gang. He answered VERY bluntly, saying:
This lion is a loud and proud PLAYA!!
We’re not exactly sure if we’re supposed to be surprised by Leonardo DiCaprio’s apparent playa status considering we’re very familiar with his plethora of lovely ladiez.
Seriously, he's a hot blonde magnet!
But we're a little surprised to hear he isn’t as low-key about it as we’ve been made to believe.
That’s right, hunky Leo is a chatty one!
Leo was having dinner with actor Kevin Connolly and twelve women - a typical night - when he was allegedly overheard bragging about his bedroom rotations. A fellow diner revealed:
Left: Kevin Connolly at the Los Angeles Premiere of Entourage yesterday. Right: Matt Bomer at TV Guide Magazine's party for The Power List and Upcoming 3000th Issue.
Both men wore the same Simon Spurr navy, wool-striped three piece suit.
While Kevin went for a classier look with a tie and jacket, Bomer sported a more relaxed feel with his unbuttoned shirt and rolled-up sleeves.
