The seemingly innocent hair change has been making tidal waves since its debut back in January, with everyone from Karl Lagerfeld proclaiming his distaste to President Obama himself making some lighthearted cracks about it during the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Now that FLOTUS is going through the frustrating process of growing them out, she's getting backlash from a bunch of citizens on Twitter!

Fashion peeps simply cannot stop talking about Michelle Obama's style, and Simon Doonan is the latest to offer up his two cents.
The Barneys creative ambassador-at-large was recently asked if he thinks FLOTUS is chic. He replied:
"She dresses appropriately. I don't think of her as being chic. As a public servant you can never appear to be chic. You need to look kind."
Though he certainly has a point about dressing appropriately as a politician, we just can't believe he doesn't think MObama is chic. She may not be a fashionista/clotheshorse like Sarah Jessica Parker or Anna Dello Russo (that would be WILD!), but she is always stylin'.
If anything we'd say she's very chic, but in an understated way.

Do U agree with what Simon says???

Monique Lhuillier must really feel like the First Lady of fashion tonight!
Taking a break from Jason Wu and Michael Kors, FLOTUS Michelle Obama decided to show herself off in one of Monique's sheer beaded creations for the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
The black fitted, draped chiffon gown features a high neckline in delicate Chantilly lace. An intricate design of jet black stones is featured around her neckline and shoulders, making her shine as the goddess she is!

It's not our favorite MOBAMA look, but hey… when there are so many good ones, that's not the worst thing in the world.
Michelle Obama joined four former first ladies — Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Bush, and Rosalynn Carter — at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Center opening ceremony in Dallas on Thursday.
We don't know what they talked about. We assume they all complimented each other on something, or remarked about what a pleasant day it was.
And we're sure some of the other ladies felt a little miffed that FLOTUS looked better than them in her pale indigo dress and matching coat, multi-strand pearl necklace, and gray pumps.
But what can you do???
MObama is a style icon and very few can even hope to compete with her.
It's not like the other ladies looked bad — they were dressed very appropriately — but, really, it was a losing battle.
She not only wore the dress with the sloppy bow, but she also dragged out those pink Balenciaga shoes once again for the Coach 3rd Annual Evening of Cocktails and Shopping event in Santa Monica on Wednesday.
At least she paired the outfit with a cute coral Coach bag, but you'd think she'd wear something different for such a fashionable event.
The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.
Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:
"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."
That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:
"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."
She added:
"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...
As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
