Last we heard about Avatar 2, Michelle Rodriguez was talking about the next film being set underwater.

Now, we're hearing that James Cameron and 20th Century Fox will be working on motion capture photography and high-tech production of the Avatar sequels out of a Manhattan Beach facility.

The studio is MASSIVE at 580,000 sq ft with 15 soundstages!

Here's what entertainment office specialist Jim Jacobsen of Industry Partners had to say about the new space:

“Given the two different requirements — needing soundstages like he had before and office space, and the fact that the Hercules Campus has started demolition, it’d make sense he’d be interested in a studio operation like Manhattan Beach Studios. 90,000 square feet of space on the Westside is very difficult to put together.”

Very cool.

Sounds like it will be exciting times in Manhattan Beach pret-ty soon!

Despite persistent rumors that Michelle Rodriguez prefers her lady friends to gentleman callers, the actress revealed yesterday that this is, in fact, not the case!

She says:

"I'm not a lesbian. Yeah! Mitchie likes sausage."

We've all heard rumblings about whether or not Avatar 2 will be set underwater, we even reported that Sam Worthington mentioned it back in December.

But this latest tidbit comes from Michelle Rodriguez, and has that beautiful smell of official news to it!

Here's a bit about what she said:

Actress Michelle Rodriguez says "Avatar 2" will take viewers underwater and will be extraordinarily beautiful.

Rodriguez, who starred in the original, told The Associated Press in an interview Thursday that she has no clue yet whether she will be asked to play a role in the sequel.

This sounds awesome, but pretty difficult.

Though if anyone is up to the task, it's Cameron!

He's done quite a bit of underwater filming in his past (Aliens in the Deep, Ghosts of the Abyss, the Abyss), and with the newest of the new 3D technology, we can only imagine that it'll be breathtakingly gorgeous!

So, the question is, what do U think about Avatar 2 being set underwater??

Dykonic actress Michelle Rodriguez plans to protest illegal fishing and whaling with marine conservationist Paul Watson, so she's decided to become a vegetarian so people don't think she's a hypocrite during her Pain-in-the-Ass-inspired plight!

She says:

"I'm not [a vegetarian] but I will have to be because on the ship, it's a vegan ship - you can't be a hypocrite; you can't be sitting there trying to save animals and then killing them. That's just weird. I have a tendency not to think before I do things, which you know what, it really adds a little spice to life - because if you thought too much about things before you do them, you'd never do them."

She reveals:

"You know what was amazing to me? Finally not having a frickin' cop outfit. I'm so tired of these butchy polyester outfits. It seems every time I do something I'm wearing some government outfit - it's so annoying. With the exception of Fast And The Furious, I'm always in uniform. I'm always like, 'Can I just get rid of this butch outfit and be hot for once?' I think it's that some people have that Cleopatra appeal, some people have that warrior appeal, and some people have the mother appeal - whatever your power is as a woman, go for it! Run with it!"

Well, sorry to break it to you, but we don't think that you have any kind of appeal whatsoever!
