Is there really a sex tape????

The never ending debate over the million dollar question!

The sex tape has ruined Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag's friendship and divided many friends and the millions of The Hills viewers into opposing sides.

Now, Beef Curtain's ex-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, is speaking out against Spencer Pratt.

Spencer was on The Tyra Banks Show yesterday and said, "I know for 100% fact it did exist – 1000%!"

Heidi also claims it's not a rumor, adding, "From what I have heard from confirmed sources… her ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it."

Somehow that wouldn't surprise us of Jason.

As for Lauren still having the tape, Heidi adds, "Well, I mean, I am not sure she has it anymore… but from what I've heard… I am not really allowed to elaborate."

Did Lauren burn the tape? Does Jason still have it?

In a statement, Wahler says, "I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist. Spencer Pratt is lying again to get attention. Lauren is my friend and it is insulting to her to suggest this."

Is it insulting or just a possible money loss?

Squeaky-clean Lauren can't have a sex tape leak!

Who else would pay her bills if MTV drops her for bad press?

Then again, MTV wouldn't drop her.  Please, they've had bigger trash hosting dating game shows.

We KNOW how to end this ONCE and FOREVER.

Attention Lauren, Jason, and Spencer we have a solution for all the drama.

YES!!!!

That's the easiest way to solve this all.

The New Yorker has written one of the best articles on The Hills eva!

Here are a few of the HIGHlights from their piece:

- "Most of the conversations start with one or another of the girls asking Lauren what she did the night before, and, constant as the questions are, they seem to be asked not out of curiosity but out of obligation, as if the girls were being paid to ask—as, indeed, they are."

- "As for Lauren, she is smart enough to get as much gold as she can out of “The Hills” before it’s too late, and has started a fashion line, for which she has received, naturally, an undue amount of press attention, even though the clothes are sub-Old Navy in design."

- "I have yet to hear any character on the show say something interesting or funny…or see anything that expands my sense of what it’s like to be a young person in Los Angeles."

- "But The Hills isn’t aiming to stimulate or inspire; I think people watch it mostly to figure out why they’re watching it. For younger viewers—who are the intended audience for the series—it may be a soothing fantasy about coming of age, and give them the sense that even after they leave their parents’ house they will still be the center of attention, the way these girls are.

The Queen of All Media's fat head was projected in the middle of Times Square on Monday as part of our new weekly "Meet the Perez" segment on MTV's TRL.

We'll try to not let it get to our head! Ha ha ha ha haaaaa!

Last week, reality TV actress Heidi Montag announced publicly that she was supporting and would vote for Republican candidate John McCain.

In return, McCain stated that he never misses an episode of The Hills.

Awwww, how sweet!

It seems Heidi pulled something similar to Paris Hilton, who during her contribution to the Vote or Die campaign, “forgot” to go vote.

Well, it turns out Ms. Montag isn’t even registered to vote!

Just a little technicality. Heidi can still register before the election in November…..unless she "forgets"!

Perezzers is now part of the TRL family!

That's right, the Queen of All Media will be on TRL today, Monday, at approximately 3:30 P.M. Eastern.

And, Perez will be on TRL once a week, every week, from now on!

Our friends at MTV totally tricked out our big ol' closet and set up a mini studio there with lights and equipment to allow us to do the TRL hits live via Los Angeles every week.

It's gonna be so much fun!

And we have LOTS to talk about today!

Did anyone else notice this????

During last night's episode of our favorite scripted show on television, The Hills…

Audrina's hair was done up two completely different ways during the SAME "scene."

Seems like there were some reshoots possibly done and the continuity person needs to be fired!

Is this surprising news??????

The ratings are in and…..

The season premiers of The Hills was the highest rated telecast for cable all year long so far!

It was also the highest rated episode ever of The Hills.

It even beat out broadcast television channels with the highest ratings for the night!

The premiere averaged over 4.7 million viewers.

WTF?!?!

Are all these people seriously watching the show?

Or did everyone just leave the house with MTV playing on their TV.

After the premiere, the performance by Mariah Carey resulted in an over 180% increase from the regular ratings in that normal time slot.

Even MTV online received record highs, with an increase of 29% of people going online to stream the episode. MTV.com delivered a staggering 2.2 million streams.

Do people actually watch the show because they think it's real or why?

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that none other than Mariah Carey will be performing at MTV's premiere party for The Hills later this month!

An insider tells us that "The party will be held in NYC instead of LA, because Mariah is being a huge diva. She is scheduled to preform at the party, and she refuses to fly out to LA. SO, instead MTV is having to fly out EVERYONE from LA to NYC."

An MTV source, however, counters that the premiere party was always scheduled to be in NYC, that Mimi is not being a diva and that at this point she's not officially "confirmed."

How will Lauren Conrad feel about being upstaged at her own premiere?
