What is happening this summer??

Wouldn't this be fun?!
And by BIG we mean going to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 premiere in Los Angeles, to meet and hang out with the cast!
This is such a tragedy.
It's been reported that Olympic fencer Kamara James has died at 29, and the circumstances are still under investigation.
She was found in her apartment on September 20th, and they don't suspect foul play or suicide as the cause.
And this is why we have judges, to make the hard decisions.
Olympian Oscar Pistorius has been on trial all week after being convicted of shooting and killing his girlfriend last Valentine's Day.
Judge Thokozile Masipa's ruling will be handed down next week, but until then, the sides are definitely at odds.
Prosecutor Gerrie Nel thinks Pistorius should get at least 10 years, saying, "The minimum term that society will be happy with."
But Oscar's side is saying
Michael Phelps is a world class athlete and celebrity. So when he effs up, he effs up publicly, in a big way.
So everyone knows he got a DUI. His second one, specifically.
"Everyone" includes the International Olympic Committee (IOC), who tend to be pretty anti-drugs and alcohol.
Were they upset with him? Super pissed off? Totally cool with it?
The IOC Issued a comment to us, saying:
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) sure took their sweet time protecting the rights of their LGBT athletes.
But we guess after the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, it was time to take a stand.
Russia's anti-gay "propaganda" law must've been the straw that broke the camel's back. Glad it got the IOC to put a special clause in the contract all Olympic host cities must sign.
Say it ain't so!
Dancing With The Stars lost it's first competitor last night in the first elimination show of the season. While fashion designer Betsey Johnson had the lowest score, it was still between her and Olympian LoLo Jones… and ANYTHING could have happened.
So who got booted??
Many folks were outraged that this former Olympian wasn't convicted yesterday of premeditated murder, or just straight up 'murder' in general.
Well, Oscar Pistorius was found GUILTY of at least one charge — even if it was the lesser of all the charges.
On Friday, Oscar was convicted of culpable homicide, which is about the same as manslaughter in the U.S., and could get a sentence that could see him under house arrest or sent to jail for a maximum fifteen years!
