Looks like this Flipper flipped out!
While visiting San Antonio's SeaWorld, a 9-year old girl was reportedly petting a dolphin at their Dolphin Cove where petting is allowed, when the dolphin allegedly bit her hand so tightly, that her mother was unable to free her from its clutches.
In fact, it took a SeaWorld employee to extricate her from the mouth of the beast. Okay, dolphins aren't beasts, but still…scary stuff! We knew dolphins had sex for fun, but gnawing on little girls? Keep it classy, guys!
Now, PETA is asking
Ever since the documentary Blackfish came out, all eyes have been on SeaWorld. And they're judging… hard.
Some of those judging eyes belong to the U.S. government!
The U.S. Department of Agriculture actually cited SeaWorld Orlando for violating the Animal Welfare Act!
SeaWorld can try and spin the press in their favor all they want, but the fact that they were using
Thanks to PETA, Sam Simon, The Wild Animal Sanctuary, and the Atlanta Humane Society, 17 bears have been rescued from awful conditions!
They were taken away from the concrete pits at the Black Forest Bear Park in Helen, Georgia.
The conditions there looked absolutely unBEARable!
They were stuck in their prison-like environment, forced to beg for scraps from tourists.
Now, they live on 60-acres of green grass at the The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado!
They have their own dens and access to top notch veterinary services!!
Best part? At the zoo, their babies were taken away from them immediately after birth, but at the sanctuary… they get to keep their cubs!!

The latest blow to SeaWorld is
Noah Cyrus might only be 13, but she's already looking to make a difference!
The animal-loving teen has teamed up with PETA Kids in hopes of raising awareness of the abuse and poor conditions performing animals endure in the circus.
Noah took action when she saw Ringling Bros. was coming to her hometown of Nashville, and she wrote a letter to the school board urging them to avoid any field trips to the traveling circus!
Ricky Gervais is always looking out for the animals!
