Leave it to Russell Brand to paint a controversial speech as a spiritual awakening!
In an article Russell wrote for the UK's Guardian newspaper this weekend, the comedian talked about the absurdity of receiving the Oracle Award:
The comedian attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday, and apparently things got nasty pretty fast!
It all started when Boris Johnson accepted the award for Politician of the Year by making jokes about the recent chemical attacks in Syria.
Russell was quick to comment on the politician’s poor taste in his own acceptance speech for the Oracle award, while also dragging in one of the event's sponsors:

Heidi Klum and boyfriend, Martin Kristen, are apparently getting super serious!
The couple have reportedly been on a mission for new El Lay digs, and it looks like their top choice is Katy Perry's Hollywood Hills mega mansion purchased back in 2012 with then-husband, Russell Brand!
