On Friday, Canadian hottie Ryan Gosling was spotted following his dog around Hollywood with his Super 8 camera.

The news of his ex, Rachel McAdams, hooking up with Salma Hayek ex, Josh Lucas, doesn't seem to be bothering him one bit!

Guess it didn't work the second time around!

After four months of being 'back together', Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have broken up.

They first got together in 2004 during the filming of chick flick extraordinaire, The Notebook, and broke up in '07.

A friend revealed that this most recent break up happened because, "Rachel is too controlling. They broke up the first time because of their busy schedules - and that's the problem again."

We bet they'll get back together in a few months!
