While we love the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Grammys, The Comedy Awards will offer a nice break from the snooty shows!

The nominees for the 2012 Comedy Awards have been released and Modern Family, 30 Rock, Bridesmaids, Crazy, Stupid, Love., and Louis C.K. lead the group with five nominations each.

Modern Family took home the best TV series gold last year and 30 Rock is back to try to snatch it away this year, along with Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Rec, and newbie Happy Endings.

Bridesmaids has been mostly snubbed this awards season but they have several opportunities to take home some hardware with nods in Best Comedy, Best Film Director, Best Screenplay and a catfight for best actress between Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.

Meow! Lolz!

2012 should be an exciting race for The Comedy Awards as 2011 was VERY good year for comedy!

Oh No!! What is going on???

There is some jah-rAAma going on at The Office, and they need their HR guy to fix it FAST! Did ya hear that, Toby??

While Robert California (James Spader) is officially leaving (well that was short and sweet), we hear crucial characters like Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Kelly (Mindy Kaling) are this-close to leaving!

As we mentioned yesterday, this looks really cute! We can't wait to see what happens at the end!

…Maybe Steve and Keira FINALLY kiss as the world collapses around them! Kind of like the ending to Fight Club (which we also absolutely love!).

There's just something tragic, beautiful, and romantic about finding love at the end of days! Apocalyptic swoon! LOLz!

Back in April, we heard that Steve Carell and Keira Knightley were circling around a project called Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which is currently being described as follows:

After a few quiet years after The O.C. explosion, Adam Brody is ready for work in 2012!

The actor has been cast in a slew of films, including Some Girls, Welcome to the Jungle, a Linda Lovelace biopic, Deepthroat Lovelace and Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World, co-starring alongside the likes of Steve Carell, Keira Knightley, Amanda Seyfried, James Franco and JCVD.

Towards the end of 2011, Adam also voiced the character Woodie, in MTV's cartoon, Good Vibes.

Let's just hope these new flicks are better than Jennifer's Body.

Looks like it's going to be hard to keep Adam off-set this year!

He's got Olivia Wilde, Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, and James Gandolfini along for the ride as well — with Steve playing the magnificent Burt Wonderstone!

Steve Carell dons a golden mane for his next role as a magician. The movie, Burt Wonderstone, chronicles the life and escapades of a Vegas magician.

Also starring in the flick are Olivia Wilde and Steve Buscemi as Burt's assistant, Anton Loveface.

The villian for film? None other than the zanily, flamboyant Jim Carrey!

Be careful with that new look, Steve!
