Accused molester Richard Hayes Stone, Teri Hatcher's former uncle through marriage, had been serving a 14-year jail sentence when he died Tuesday of colon cancer.

Hatcher helped put Stone behind bars after she heard of the suicide of Northern California teenager Sarah Van Cleemput. The teen shot herself in the head leaving behind a note that said: "You're probably thinking a normal teenager doesn't do this; well, ask Dick!"

Turns out Dick was Richard Stone.

Hatcher contacted authorities and in a secret interview with prosecutors revealed she was molested as a child by Dick as well.

Stone thereafter pleaded guilty.

The meopause network, Lifetime, is working on a shitcom based on Teri Hatcher's memoir, Burnt Toast.

The book is about a fortysomething single mother who wants her daughter to learn from mommy's mistakes.

Sounds like a watered down, suburbia version of Gilmore Girls to us.

Although it's unclear what her role will be in the show (producer, occasional guest star), kudos to Teri for using her fleeting Desperate fame to do something that will hopefully give her a paycheck once the ABC show is over.

On second thought, it's probably Hatcher's 'people' that make things happen. Need to give credit where it's due!

Desperate Housewives is seeking to spice things up with some new characters. Thankfully they aren't bringing back that gardner douche!

TVGuide, is reporting that The O.C. alum Chris Carmack has signed on for a potential recurring role with the ladies.

Chris, a former Abercrombie and Fitch model, is set to play Susan Mayer's (Teri Hatcher's) cousin, named Tim. He's apparently in Wisteria Lane to help Susan and Mike (James Denton) with their taxes.

He better be shirtless and causing trouble all the time, or it would be such a waste of Carmack's hunkiness!

Well, she's not doing much these days!

She wasn't the special guest, but Terry Hatcher showed up at the Vienna operal ball in Austria on Thursday.

The Desperate Housewives actress, not filming currently because of the writers' strike, loves a good photo op.

Teri Snatcher is firing back at the skincare company that is suing her ass.

The desperate Desperate Housewives star released the following statement through her lawyers:

"The allegations of this lawsuit are totally false and completely without merit. Despite having to deal with a frustrating series of changes in the ownership and management of Hydroderm over the last several years, Teri Hatcher has more than fully complied with all of her contractual obligations over the course of the relationship.

Clearly, Hydroderm has embarked on this unjustified and public assault on Teri Hatcher's name, reputation and celebrity in a transparent effort to distract from its own failure to live up to its end of the agreement. Ms. Hatcher will respond swiftly and decisively by appropriate legal means to recover everything she is owed under her contract, as well as compensatory and punitive damages for Hydroderm's outrageous accusations; however, she will not litigate this matter in the press, as Hydroderm apparently seeks to do."

We're inclined to believe Hydroderm!

Teri Hatcher has been slapped with a lawsuit by a beauty company - and it's not from the makers of Botox!

The Desperate Housewives star was sued in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday by Hydroderm skincare, which claims that they paid her $2.4 million to be a paid spokewshore but that she promoted other beauty products in violation of their contract.

Dumb dumb!

"Hatcher's name, image and likeness have been linked to so many competitors' products (at least 17!) that it is anyone's guess as to what product keeps her skin and lips youthful," read the court papers.

Hydroderm calls Hatcher's behavior "willful, oppressive, fraudulent and malicious." Some of her co-stars say the same thing about her!

In addition to the $2.4 million they say Teri was paid, the company is seeking unspecified damages, plus attorneys fees and costs.

Why would anyone want Snatcher to endorse their beauty products in the first place?

They should lose for being stoopid enough to ask her!
