Zacquisha and gang are hitting theaters this October.

And there's now an exact release date!

According to very reliable reports from Pluto and Goofy, Miley Cyrus is making a cameo in High School Musical 3.

She's playing a pregnant teenager!

13-year old Connor Steventon saldy died last month after a 2 year battle with a rare form of cancer that affects the soft cells, muscles and fat. Connor's courage throughout his illness inspired many and a call for help to pay for treatment raised thousands.

Zac Efron was one of those moved by Connor's fight. Zac took time off from filming on a local set in the Isle of Man to surprise Connor for his 13th birthday, just a few weeks before his death.

Sad. But very sweet of Zac to give of his time to cheer the sick teen up.

Connor's legacy will live on through Connor's Causes — a soon to be established charity that will reallocate the remaining money that Connor's supporters valiantly raised to assist others in need.

Get out there and donate your time or your Starbuck's money for the week towards a local cause or neighbor in need! HERE is a good list to choose from.

Sprinkle us with Tinkerbell dust, we're getting some more HSM action coming our way!

Disney Channel Worldwide chief Rich Ross confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the channel is already starting work on High School Musical 4!

HSM 3 hasn't even hit the big screen yet!! It's not even done filming!

If Zacquisha barely wanted to come back for this installment, there's NO WAY girlfriend's coming back for part 4!

HSM 4 is currently being worked up as a TV movie, but that could change, according to the channel head.

Casting? What about the cast?!?!?

"Are we going to have all the cast back? Probably not," Ross said. "Will we have some of them? I hope so."

Get rid of Hudgens.

Nickelodeon doesn't want Disney to have all the high school fun….or money!

On April 21st, Nick will kick off filming Spectacular — their answer to the Mouse's High School Musical.

Are rip-offs ever as good as the original???

Spectacular centers on a preppy high school girl who is part of the school's Spectacular choir. The group is in sad shape, with its most talented members either having graduated or been stolen away by a rival squad. The preppy sees salvation in a cocky rock guy who reluctantly joins the choir to win a money prize that would finance his rock 'n' roll dreams. But the rocker doesn't factor in falling for the preppy girl.

Hmmmm….

If it's more like Mean Girls meets Bring It On and less like HSM, then we'd be very interested to see it!

Nick's people are also making it a point to say the songs in Spectacular will be performance-based rather than featuring characters suddenly breaking out into song like they do in High School Musical.

Whatever… it's still a knock off!

We're not so sure about this. It better be damn good to get over the knock off vibe.

Plus, Nick doesn't have the Zefron!

Let the High School Musical mania begin again!

On Monday, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens left Los Angeles International Airport together, en route to Utah, where the girls will meet up with Zacquisha to film what is (most probably) going to be the FINAL installment (with the current cast) of Disney's High School Musical.

The third part of the super successful franchise will be released in theaters.

It is expected to come out in the fall, tentatively around October.

The entire cast is back and so is the whole creative team.

They should shoot it in 3-D while they're at it. It's all the rage these days!

ABC is joining the rest of the networks by adding even more reality shows to its lineup. And, they're dipping into corporate daddy Disney's pool for talent!

Reports are surfacing that ABC is planning to release a High School Musical type of reality show, where contestants will compete in a nationwide talent hunt for the best singers.

Those that make it through will study at a music conservatory to sharpen their skills and then each week, contestants will be eliminated until a final performer is chosen.

The show will likely have cameo appearances by some of HSM's top stars. Though, we doubt Zacquisha will make an appearance. He's too above that now. Unless they pay him enough!

ABC is said to be in discussions with a production company to handle the show, though no deal has yet to be finalized.

The show is set to air this summer.

Will you watch, or are you on a HSM overload still?

Don't know, but this sounds too much like American Idol for us. We bet there will be three judges, 2 guys and 1 girl, of those one will be black or latino, one will be the 'nice' one, and the other will be the 'mean' one.

And, of course, ALL the contestants will be gay!

Sadly, we didn't run into Zac Efron during our lovely trip to London. And with good reason.

The heartthrob sensation has been filming Me and Orson Wells in the Isle of Man. Grrrr!
