Since the tragic passing of Prince last month, almost everyone under the sun has honored the legendary musician with emotional performances and touching memories.

But Paul McCartney saved his tribute to the Purple One for his Wednesday concert, because he was playing in the late icon's hometown of Minneapolis!

Kicking off the first of his two-night stop at the Target Center in Minnesota, the former Beatle stood in front of Prince's famous symbol while rocking out to a rendition of Let's Go Crazy.

Arsenio Hall CLAPS BACK At Sinead O'Connor With $5 Million Defamation Lawsuit Regarding Prince's Death

Arsenio Hall and Sinead O'Connor

Oh snap.

Earlier this week we told you Sinead O'Connor made some serious accusations that Arsenio Hall supplied Prince with drugs, in addition to "spiking" her drink years ago at Eddie Murphy's house. The troubled singer also went on to claim that Hall is both Eddie and Prince's "b*tch" — which we suppose can be left open for interpretation. Woof.

In response, the 60-year-old comedian has slapped the singer with a $5 million defamation lawsuit. Mic drop.

According to TMZ, the suit denies O'Connor's since-deleted Facebook allegations that Hall fueled Prince's drug habit and calls 49-year-old musician a "desperate attention seeker."

The Arsenio Hall Show host also adds that he never drugged Sinead, who he claims he hasn't had contact with in more than 25 years.

Hall's suit also mentions the Ireland native actually "detested" Prince, once telling him to "go f*ck himself."

But all in all, Hall isn't surprised by Sinead's actions as he says she is "well known for her media antics and for seeking attention through inflammatory Facebook posts."

Welp! Can't really argue with that one…

Percocet Was Reportedly Found In Prince's System When He Died

R.I.P.

We're learning more about what might have happened to Prince.

On Wednesday, Star Tribune reported that a source close to the investigation of the icon's passing has revealed that the artist had Percocet in his system when he died.

While the toxicology and autopsy results aren't quite finished, the insider explained that the late legend has tested positive for the pain killer.

However, the confidante stressed that authorities aren't sure if the pill's presence had anything to do with the songsmith's death.

Whether or not the drug contributed to the musician's untimely end, sources have admitted that the rocker had been hooked on the opioid for years, and was even supposed to meet with an addiction specialist the day after he died.

Reports have also said that the emergency landing the 57-year-old made the week before his death was so he could receive emergency treatment for an overdose.

Plus, we do know that the DEA and the US Attorney are both involved in the ongoing investigation.

But we won't know for sure how Prince died until his autopsy results come out.

We can't say we're shocked by this development.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration will now investigate Prince's untimely April 21 death. The news comes on the heels of a report suggesting the singer attempted to seek help from a drug addiction specialist prior to his passing.

A spokesperson for the Carver County's sheriff's office revealed:

"They have agreed to provide federal resources and expertise in our investigation."

Wow. This is a HUGE deal.

If the singer's opiate addiction is proven to be true, we can only imagine how far this investigation will go. We bet many pharmacists and doctors will be questioned as to how the 57-year-old obtained all these drugs throughout the years.

What's even crazier about this new is we don't even have an official cause of death yet. This just proves how much other evidence authorities have!

So, what do YOU think of this development?
