Prosecutors Are Appealing Making A Murderer Star Brendan Dassey's Overturned Conviction!

And the saga continues…

As we reported last month, a federal judge overturned Brendan Dassey's conviction claiming his coerced confession violated his Fifth and Fourteenth Amendment rights. Because of this, the 26-year-old will leave jail in November.

As seen on Making A Murderer, the Wisconsin-native — along with uncle Steven Avery — were charged with the rape and murder of Teresa Haibach.

However, the Netflix star just faced another obstacle in his journey to freedom.

On Friday, the state of Wisconsin is appealing Dassey's overturned conviction. According to Attorney General Brad Schimel:

"We believe the magistrate judge's decision that Brendan Dassey's confession was coerced by investigators, and that no reasonable court could have concluded otherwise, is wrong on the facts and wrong on the law… Two state courts carefully examined the evidence and properly concluded that Brendan Dassey's confession to sexually assaulting and murdering Teresa Halbach with his uncle, Steven Avery, was voluntary, and the investigators did not use constitutionally impermissible tactics."

Regardless of whether he is truly guilty or not, Brendan is going to face another uphill battle.

Unfortunately, the sock designer's road trip also put him in trouble with the law!

On January 30, he was pulled over in New Mexico for speeding. A day later, the reality TV personality received ANOTHER ticket when we drove 107 MPH in a 70 MPH zone near Blythe, CA.

On Tuesday, Kardashian's attorney pleaded — in proxy — not guilty for the speeding ticket and for not displaying a license plate. His next court date is May 20.

To make matters more complicated, his license expired on his birthday March 17. No word whether he got it renewed.

Chyna may have to do the driving from now on!

According to lawyer Monique Pressley, these charges against the 78-year-old "violate an express agreement" where Cosby "would never be prosecuted with respect to the allegations of sexual assault made by complainant Andrea Constand."

Back in 2006, the disgraced actor and Constand agreed to a civil settlement after she initially sued him.

According to Cosby's counsel, authorities agreed to a "non-prosecution agreement… for the express purpose of inducing Mr. Cosby to testify fully in Ms. Constand's civil litigation against him."
