Today's Fan Pets of the Day are…

Stella and Sunny!!

TeddyHilton.com reader Mia sent us pics of her cuties all the way from Australia and said:

"These are our gorgeous Maltese x poodle (Moodle) pups all the way from Canberra, Australia. They are best friends and love spending time running around the garden and play fighting. They are super enthusiastic about life, love attention and adore being cuddled. Their ears perk up at the mention of "chicken", "walks", "car" or a "bath", and I think they'd be great buddies for your gorgeous Teddy! :)"

They're both so friggin' CUTE!!

We love that they're such good buddies so even when no one's home, they've at least got each other!

So so so cute!

Think UR pet should be The Fan Pet Of The Day? Email us a pic to teddyhiltonphotos@gmail.com!!!

Baby Bat Saved After Suspected Cat Attack

baby bat is super cute newborn(1)

A worker at the Bat Conservation & Rescue Queensland deserves a pat on the back!

They took in an injured little bat who was suspected of having been attacked by a cat.

Blossom is a Blossom Bat! She has a really long tongue used to get nectar out of flowers and is super cute.

When she was brought into the shelter, she was fed a nectar and milk formula.

She gradually gained weight and even began to practice flying at night.

Blossom Bats are actually threatened because of the loss of their natural habitat due to deforestation and real estate.

So little Blossom was eventually released back into the wild and now is living the free life of a wild bat!

Such a little cutie! Glad the Bat Conservation was able to save her life!

Turkeys Tortured At Australian Slaughterhouse!!

Filed under: Legal MattersSad SadBirdsAnimal Cruelty

This is just absolutely HORRIBLE!!

When we take live animals, and keep them in cramped, stressful situations to be used as food, we have a responsibility.

That responsibly is to make sure their lives are ended as humanely as possibly.

At a slaughterhouse near Sydney, Australia there are workers who enjoy to torture turkeys before they're stunned and killed.

The birds are shackled by their feet to a conveyor that takes them to be stunned before they're killed.

The whole point of stunning them is so their death is as humane as possible.

But the workers kick, punch and slam around the birds before they're stunned!!

It's so incredibly horrible! Thank goodness there were security cameras that secretly caught everything!

The footage has been taken to the cops for investigation so hopefully these monsters will pay!

Check out the video (above) to learn all about the horrible abuse, but BEWARE it is violently GRAPHIC!

New Baby White Rhino Born At Australia Zoo

Baby Rhino!

OMG!! There is nothing cuter than small versions of big things.

Australia Zoo just announced the birth of their second Southern White Rhinoceros calf, a cute lil baybay gurrrl.

We say lil just cause she's tiny for a rhino. She actually weighs about 100 pounds!!

Because of poaching for their horns, White Rhinos are listed as Near Threatened.

So every time a new Rhino is born into the world, it's an event to celebrate!

The lil baby and her mama are spending time bonding off display.

A zookeeper said:

"We're really happy with her progress. She is feeding and is quite active – she was walking within hours of the birth."

That's great! We're so glad she's healthy!

Congrats, mama Rhino!

Dove

In Australia, Trevor Maltby had to go on a six-day business trip.

So he parked his car at Cairns International Airport and went on his way.

When he got back, ready to drive home, he found a dove perched on his rear windshield.

After trying to shoo it away, it wouldn't budge, and he realized it had laid eggs in a nest it had built!!

This is Shani's third babe and she's proven to be a great mom, and the newborn is bonding well with her.

Except when she's had enough of mama's kissies! Too CUTEz!
