There’s another huge update following the disturbing allegations against Katy Perry!
As we previously reported, Ruby Rose accused the pop star this week of sexually assaulting her while out at a nightclub in Melbourne nearly two decades ago, which Katy denied via her rep. Despite previously saying she didn’t want to file a police report over the matter, the 40-year-old actress had a change of heart!
She later revealed on Monday night that she “finalized” all her reports and would no longer publicly discuss the situation. And Ruby is serious! She really did file a police report, so Katy is now under investigation by the Australian police! Whoa!

Victoria Police confirmed to The Sydney Morning Herald and the Herald Sun on Wednesday that they are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne back in 2010. The Herald Sun reported detectives from the Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation team are looking into Ruby’s accusations. However, do not expect more details on the investigation at this time! A Victoria spokesman told both outlets:
“Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
