Scary: Moms In U.S. More Likely To Die In Childbirth Than Anywhere In Europe

NOT good news!

Almost 13 out of every 100,000 child births in the United States results in the mother's death!!!

That's worse than nearly ALL countries in Europe and many in Asia and the Middle East! Despite advancement in medical technology US's the maternal mortality rate had nearly DOUBLED in the past 20 years.

WHY? The problem

Despite the big smile on her face, believe it or not, Alanis Morissette now admits that she was unprepared for motherhood.

The singer and her husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway welcomed a son Ever back on Christmas Day 2010 and has now written a column about having her first baby where she writes that she felt like a "a blank slate," with "no handbook when it came to all the changes that came with pregnancy and taking care of a newborn.
