Just when it looks like the world of sports is taking a step forward in accepting homosexuality, it takes two GIANT steps back!

Jay Briscoe is a pro wrestler for the Ring of Honor, and his profile describes his am "controversial" and "outspoken," and based on some homophobic tweets he sent out we'd have to say they nailed it.

When Delaware recently passed a bill for marriage equality, the wrestler took to Twitter to share his thoughts, saying:

"The Delaware Senate passed a bill yesterday that allows same sex couples to get married. If that makes you happy, then congratulations!!!!!"

Nothing wrong here, right? Except he decided to follow-up that tweet with this:

This is BIG news, folks!!

Delaware State Senate officially passed the marriage equality bill earlier today with a 12-9 vote, making the state the 11th to support marriage equality!

Senator Bryan Townsend, a supporter of the bill, stated:

"I hope we begin to treat as equals all those who wish to announce their love and commitment to the world."

The state’s governor, Jack Markell will sign the bill, which is set to be implemented July 1st!

Of course, there are those who are unhappy with the state senate’s decision, including Senator Robert Venables. The Senator spoke up against the bill and said:

A pediatrician from Delaware accused of punishing his 11-year-old daughter by waterboarding her, is claiming that he is a victim of hysteria.

Dr. Melvin Morse says that ever since the prosecution of pediatrician Earl Bradley, who is serving 14 consecutive life sentences in jail for abusing a high number of his young patients over the years, the state has overreacted to any scandals involving pediatricians.

We're not sure if his claims are significant or not.

Despite his claims, all that really matters is if the allegations against him are true or not. If he was waterboarding his daughter then that is a serious crime.

Actor and R&B singer Tyrese Gibson is not apologizing for the controversial remarks he made during an interview at a Delaware radio station in September.

While in town to promote his latest album and speak at an elementary school on behalf of a charity, Communities In Schools, he noticed a liquor store across the street from the Delaware learning institution and was NOT happy about it!

After the charity event, he was scheduled to talk to KISS 101.7 FM about his new music, but decided the interview was the perfect platform to share his outrage over the alcohol zoning issue.

We think it's an important issue that needs to be addressed, but the radio station's programming director did not share our sentiment.

Tyrese was kicked off the air and told his songs would not get played unless he apologized.

Christine was trying to promote her book Troublemaker, but when legit issues such as gay marriage came up, Ms. O'Donnell just couldn't handle it, and she very awkwardly ended the interview.
