christopher nolan directing talks james bond franchise daniel craig barbara broccoli

Holy shaken-not-stirred martinis, batman — our souls are smiling!!!

Barbara Broccoli and Michael G .Wilson, the execs in charge of the James Bond franchise, approached Christopher Nolan about directing the next 007 flick!!

He blew our friggin' minds with Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception and Christian Bale in The Dark Knight trilogy… and now he's in talks to team up with Daniel Craig?!?!

That. Would. Be. Double-Oh-AMAZEBALLZ!!!

Don't get us wrong, Sam Mendes did a fantastic job on Skyfall — especially with his inclusion of Adele — but this could be EPIC!!!

Make it happen, universe! We're counting on U!!

50 Shades Of Grey Whips Director Joe Wright Into Submission??!

50 shades director in talks joe wright

Oh goodie! If we can lock him down, maybe we're one step closer to having Ian Somerhalder play Grey! Fingers crossed!

The dominatrix movie magic is well on its way because Atonement director Joe Wright is being cornered to direct the 50 Shades of Grey film adaptation.

Settle down! Settle down!!!

Don't break out the paddles and bondage just yet!

No one has signed on the dotted line, but their are some LOUD whispers that Joe is "their man."

While the scandalous trilogy hasn't declared its stars and decorated writer Kelly Marcelli hasn't turned in a finished script , Universal Pictures chairman Adam Fogelson predicts the erotic delight could hit theaters as soon as 2014.

Is it just us or is this flick taking a painfully long time to make??!

We want our Christian Grey (aka Ian?!) and we want him NOW.

x men director bryan singer tweets picture of hugh jackman dressed as wolverine

We'd recognize that hair anywhere!

X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer gave nerds everywhere a reason to squeal with joy when he tweeted a photo of Jean Valjean Hugh Jackman sporting his Wolverine hairdo!

The only thing we can tell from this pic is that they're in a giant studio with a HUGE green screen, so you know something EPIC is about to go down!

Unfortunately, there's not much else to see here aside from the back of Hugh's head. Not that there's anything wrong with Wolverine's head, but we need MORE!

Bryan has already given us a behind-the-scenes snap of Halle Berry dressed as Storm, so hopefully we can expect to see even more pictures soon!

Keep 'em coming!

There’s no denying that Steel Magnolias is a film classic. But who knew there’d been so much drama behind-the-scenes?!

Apparently, the film’s director Herbert Ross had a HUGE problem with 80’s ingenue Julia Roberts! Sally Field and Shirley MacLaine had a few things to say during the Target Presents AFI Night at the Movies event on Wednesday.

Shirley revealed:

J.K. Rowling Helped Harry Potter Director Chris Columbus Write A Children's Book!

Filed under: Harry PotterBookzStuff 4 Kidz

When Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone director Chris Columbus decided to write a children's book, there was a pretty obvious person to talk to!

He sought the advice of Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling!

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to find out how J.K.- and British fans of The Goonies- helped to make House Of Secrets what it is!

So what did the super successful author have to say about the finished product? She wrote:

"A breakneck, jam-packed roller coaster of an adventure about the secret power of books, HOUSE OF SECRETS comes complete with three resourceful sibling heroes, a seriously creepy villainess, and barrel loads of fantasy and fear."

Nice! Though she did finish the quote with a JK, so we're really not sure if she liked it or not! LOLz!

Spanish Horror Director Jess Franco Dies At 82 After Suffering A Stroke

spanish horror director jesus franco dies at 82 after suffering stroke

The horror movie genre lost a big name today as spanish director Jesus "Jess" Franco died at the age of 82 after suffering a stroke.

Jess' film career spans over 50 years, starting in the mid 1950's and continuing up until his death. In that time, he has written and directed nearly 200 films.

You might not be familiar with too much of his work, as none of his films received any mainstream success. But his 1962 breakthrough film The Awful Dr. Orlof earned him a cult following and cemented his place in the exploitation horror genre.

In addition to dealing with horror, many of Jess' films also earned X-ratings for their erotic nature, which can be seen in classics such as Venus in Furs and Vampyros Lesbos.

In 2009, he was given the lifetime achievement award at the annual Goya Film Awards in Madrid, Spain.

Rest in peace, Jess.
