Dogs Sense Other Dogs' Emotions Based On Tail Wags

Dogs can be very sensitive to the emotions and energy of those around them.

But how do they pick up on these cues??

They can tell how other dogs are feeling by their tail wags!

Well… no duh!

But wait, not just whether it's wagging or not… but the type of wag!

Apparently, when a dog wags their tail to the left, it means negative, anxious emotions. When a dog wags to the right, it means positive and happy ones!

That's so crazy! We had no idea.

So, are doings doing this on purpose??

This doesn't make us happy.

New research shows that American children are experiencing stress on a whole new level - and unfortunately, it's on the rise.

Suicides among adolescents have quadrupled since the 1950s and only 36% of 7th graders agreed with this statement: "I am happy with my life."

The worst part is that in just the past decade alone, medications to treat emotional disorders in children have shot up 68% for girls and 30% for boys.

Experts say that this is how stress works in a child brain:

Survivor Alum Ethan Zohn's Cancer Is Back

Ethan Zohn Cancer Again

Just 20 months after beating his first round of cancer, we are so sad to say that Ethan Zohn's Hodgkin's Lymphoma is back.

It's located near his lungs, but luckily it hasn't spread so far yet. He'll be getting specialized chemo (the kind where he won't lose his hair because it targets specific cells), and he's probably going to get another stem cell transplant from his brother.

“I don’t want fear or cancer to define me, but it’s always in the back of your mind. It’s localized in my lung area. But it’s good that it’s not all over my body. Cancer isn't going to slow me down. I want people to know that you can still live a fulfilled life and move forward."

That's not going to hold him back, however, as he plans to run a marathon after his first round of chemo. He's in high spirits, and he still has his girlfriend of 8 years to battle right there alongside him!

"She's taking it like the rock star that she is. We're both filled with fear and anger and anxiety and gratitude and frustration. But there's so much love there. It's this whole spectrum of emotions."

We say that if he beat it once, he can beat it again! His attitude about it is perfect for the fight, and we can't wait to hear that he's cancer-free again!

Good luck, Ethan! We're thinking of you!!

Red Sox Pitcher Makes Boy Cry…In A Good Way!

Awww! So cute!

Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett surprised a young fan with a ball on Thursday while warming up for his game against the Kansas City Royals.

The boy's face is PRICELESS when Josh kindly walks over and personally hands his biggest (and maybe youngest) fan a baseball.

The boy begins to literally jump for joy, but then becomes so overwhelmed by emotions he breaks down in tears!

Wow! We can only imagine how awesome Josh Beckett felt after that.
