Are you serious, Donald Trump??

The Cheeto-in-Chief went on a Twitter spree this morning, posting more than a dozen tweets about his favorite subjects: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, polling numbers, tax cuts, the 2016 election (that he STILL can't stop talking about), etc., etc…

But one tweet — by far — was the worst, and frankly most offensive, tweet of them all.

It's this one here, in which Trump somehow seemingly argues that the FBI would have been able to stop the Florida high school shooter if only they hadn't been… so preoccupied about Russia?!?!

As one Twitter user said today, nothing but respect for our future President, Emma Gonzalez!

Gonzalez is a student who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida — the school that was the center of attention this week after a shooter killed 17 people there on Wednesday afternoon.

Today, an anti-gun rally is taking place at the school down in Florida as we speak, and Gonzalez is absolutely leading the charge against the NRA, and against politicians who accept NRA money, in a measured, intelligent, effective clap back against the gun rights crowd.

And she's being absolutely brilliant!!!

Florida high school students who went through the tragedy of 17 of their classmates and teachers being killed in a shooting on Valentine's Day are speaking up — and speaking loudly.

Through television interviews and social media, the teens of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are calling out the inaction of the country's gun-loving leaders.

YouTuber Speaks Out Over Warning FBI About Troubling Comment He Believes Was Left By The Florida School Shooter

A few months ago, YouTuber Ben The Bondsman got a comment on one of his videos from a "Nikolas Cruz" account about wanting to be a school shooter.

Now, we're grieving and searching for answers after 17 innocent high school students and teachers were shot dead by a 19-year-old named Nikolas Cruz, who was able to legally purchase an assault rifle.

On Wednesday night, Ben published a video (above) detailing being interviewed by the FBI after Cruz went on his fatal rampage.

What's more — Ben revealed that he reported the comment that said "I'm going to be a professional school shooter" to YouTube and the FBI back when it was made… but it didn't seem clear anything was done.

On Thursday, Special Agent Rob Lasky, who is in charge of the FBI's Miami division, confirmed the agency investigated a YouTube comment made in September, matching Ben's account.

What should've been a happy day was tainted by a tragedy as 17 people were killed in a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine's Day.

The gunman, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, has since been apprehended by the authorities and hit with 17 counts of premeditated murder. Amid news that the mass shooter is expected in court later today (February 15), it was announced that President Donald Trump would be delivering remarks about the Parkland, FL atrocity.

This speech by POTUS comes after the Commander-In-Chief tweeted about the assailant's mental health problems, even implying neighbors and classmates are to blame for not reporting him as a "big problem":

Numerous Fatalities & Multiple Injured In Shooting At Florida High School — Suspect In Custody

UPDATE 9:07 P.M. EST: In another press conference Wednesday night, Sheriff Israel relayed the following: "Since we've last briefed, we've identified 12 [of 17 fatality] victims within the school. We will not be releasing the names of any victims until every family and every parent is notified accordingly." Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was also present to let the press know the state will be paying for the funerals of the victims and counseling for survivors.

UPDATE 6:26 P.M. EST: In a press conference Wednesday afternoon, the Broward County Sheriff confirmed there are 17 dead. He also confirms the suspect is a 19-year-old former student who was expelled for disciplinary reasons.

UPDATE 6:17 P.M. EST: Broward County Public Schools Supt. Robert Runcie has confirmed fatalities, saying: "There are fatalities that are involved. We can't confirm the number at this point. There are numerous fatalities. It's a horrific situation. It's just a horrible day for us."

UPDATE 5:03 P.M. EST: Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel revealed in a press conference saying the shooter was not a current student and that he was found off-campus and taken into arrest without incident. According to The AP, they report a US official has identified the shooter as Nikolas Cruz. He is believed to be a former student.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. EST: Broward Sheriff's Office has now confirmed there are at least 14 victims injured, and that they are being transported to the hospital.


At least twenty students have been injured in a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, says ABC News.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, one individual claimed to be the shooter is in custody though the scene is still active. The possibility of additional suspects has not been ruled out.

As of this writing, the exact number of casualties and/or injuries has not been confirmed.

Student Michael Katz said he "heard what sounded like a garbage truck like banging" at the end of the school day. He recalls:

"Then also I hear, 'Boom, boom, boom.' I hear screaming everywhere… I just got underneath my teacher's desk… We had police invade the school, and we were taken out… Fortunately, my father was there to pick me up."'

The school district released a statement saying "dismissal, students and staff heard what sounded like gunfire," adding:
