Now this is the way to spend an eight-month anniversary of your bone marrow transplant victory — a standing ovation while accepting an award on behalf of your ABC program at the 72nd annual George Foster Peabody Awards at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City!
Such a beautiful moment for Robin Roberts!
When she took the stage to accept the award, she said this:

Robin Roberts had to spend some time in the hospital recently — about two weeks — but now she's back at work and looking positively fabulous!
This latest health scare is a little less scary than previous ones! Apparently she needed to just give her brand new immune system a little boost, and doctors assured her it wasn't because she was working too hard at GMA or anything of the sort!

Regardless of the circumstance — is anyone else kinda diggin' Robin Roberts hair style??
We think it looks good on her!
Beyond the hair, we'd say that Robin is looking fab back behind that desk at Good Morning America! That smile, that attitude! We've missed her so much!

Robin Roberts has been on the mend for a while now after her bone marrow transplant but she's at least doing well.
She's doing so well that she'll be back at her anchor desk on Good Morning America on February 20th!
That's less than two weeks away!!

Keep the good Robin Roberts news comin' - we can handle it! First she gets to go home, now this!
We LOVE Robin around here, and when we hear that she's doing better than the doctors expected her to do, well, that just plain makes us super excited!

We previously mentioned that Robin Roberts had her bone marrow transplant.
The five minute procedure was quick and easy, but it'll take a while to see if the procedure is actually helping her.
So because of the length of the recovery time, she won't be returning to Good Morning America anytime soon.

Robin Roberts wrote a blog post for ABC News recently.
In it, she talked about how chemo is getting to her, and how she will have a day of rest on Wednesday before undergoing her bone marrow transplant.
In her blogpost she said:
"Last Sunday to lift my spirits I threw a little party at my apartment for my “GMA” family. The next morning I walked through the hospital doors, with my guardian angels — mom & dad — back together and blazing a trail ahead of me.
The start of last week went well but the daily chemo/treatment caught up to me by the weekend. My body is so weak but not my mind. YOU give me the courage to keep going.
So today is my last day of chemo… Wednesday is called a day of rest, yay, right! The transplant is scheduled for Thursday morning.
Bless you & Onward!"
We know you're gonna pull through this!
You're too strong not to!
We wish her nothing but a speedy and full recovery!
