We're saddened to hear that Oprah's favorite poet/author, Maya Angelou, had been hospitalized!

It was brief, luckily, and she IS back at home in North Carolina recovering — we just have no idea why she was put into the hospital in the first place! There are no details!

The only other thing we're hearing is that her medical team has ordered her to NOT travel anywhere for the next three to four weeks!

Such a bummer!

At 85, we hope she's okay! Feel better soon, Maya!

Lil Wayne experienced multiple seizures on Tuesday night while he was shooting a music video in El Lay, and as soon as his crew took notice of his fallen health condition, they rushed him to Cedars-Sinai hospital.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo patriarch Mike Thompson — aka Sugar Bear was recently hospitalized following an ATV accident.

Sugar Bear had developed a small infection which was what the surgery was for after his "mind boggling" crash.

Thankfully, though, his partner June wrote on Facebook that he's going to be alright!

In some unsettling news, British singer Morrissey has been hospitalized!

The former Smiths frontman/solo artist is currently undergoing tests at William Beaumont hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Doctors suspect a bitchy bladder infection. Ouch!!

Naturally, a few of his tour dates have been postponed in light of the icky situation, and it is unclear when he will resume performing at this moment.

That flu has just been such a bitch!

And with California getting hit with it extra hard this year, even movie stars are succumbing to its nasty reaches.

Burt Reynolds had to get his legendary ass to the ICU earlier this week after suffering severe dehydration.

But luckily, his fever has broken and he now travels to the not-so-scary wing of the hospital.

We're still hearing he should make a full recovery. Phew!

Kate Middleton turns 31 today, but how will the Duchess blow out her 31 candles?!

St. James Palace has revealed that the future queen will celebrate her birthday with royal hubby, Prince William, "privately" at their North Wales home.

The subdued day is most likely due to stress and illness after Kate was hospitalized last month for pregnancy sickness and lost one of her nurses to suicide.

Oh, poo! We would've loved to have seen Kate open presents!

We can't blame her, though!! She's going to need all the rest she can get because this time next year she'll be running around with a rambunctious heir to take care of!!
