A medical team has created an app that can actually screen for mental illness!

You just prick your finger and place a drop of blood on your screen.

JK! LOLz!

The app, called WhatsMyM3 can tell if you're at an increased risk for depression, anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The $2.99 app is meant to help adults "monitor their own symptoms and have a view of what's going on" when it comes to mood and anxiety levels.

It's basically just a survey you can take to assess your current mood and give you a readout about your risk of a mental disorder.

Apparently 1 in 5 adults has a mental illness but only about 60% of them get treatments.

A psychiatrist who's a fan of the app said:

"It helps give you a normative sense of what's in bounds and out of bounds [for mental health.] That can be helpful for anybody who's curious about or worried about how they're doing."

This is such a cool idea!

A new app called Dream: ON was made by a psychologist and is half experiment and half dream controller.

What it does is try and shift your dreams in a specific direction and then gently wake you up.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea for an app. This really is the future. Your iPhone can control your dreams!

We've heard people say that they paid an "arm and a leg" to get a new iPhone or iPad, but this is ridiculous.

A teenage boy in China literally sold one of his kidneys so he could buy an iPad and iPhone.

The 17-year-old boy's parents became suspicious when he came home with the costly tech toys.

When they asked how he bought them, he confessed to selling one of his kidneys for $3,500.

Now five people have been arrested in connection with helping him illegally sell his kidney.

One of the defendants made $35,000 after searching for organ donors online and arranging the deal.

So the kid lost a kidney and only got 10% of the sale.

The illegal organ trade is huge in China because there are 1.5 million people awaiting a transplant but only about 10,000 surgeries are performed each year, leaving hundreds of thousands looking for organs.

It's so sad that he cared so much about having these luxury items that he literally shortened his lifespan just to have them.
