Charlie Sheen Taking A Smoke Break, Gross!

charlie sheen smoking letterman nyc smoke break cigs

Well, at least it isn't a mountain of cocaine!

LOLz!

Still, smoking is a pretty awful thing. It smells bad, and it kills you. We're not sure why ANYONE would want to do it — even a self-proclaimed loose cannon like Charlie Sheen!

Charlie was spotted outside of The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC, where he promptly hammed it up while taking his smoke break.

We have to admit, he's in VERY good spirits!

Tyler Perry Writes Open Letter To Jerry Sandusky Molestation Victims

Tyler Perry open letter to Sandusky victim

Tyler Perry famously opened up about his childhood molestation on Oprah over a year ago, but now he's opening up about his tragic experiences in honor of the victims of Jerry Sandusky.

Newsweek published an open letter from the filmmaker, which he wrote to the former 11-year-old Second Mile child who suffered for years at the hands of the Penn State football defensive coordinator.

In the heart wrenching letter to the unnamed victim, Perry praised the courage it took to come forward with the allegations, writing:

Penn State Gives Students Tips For Post-Sex Scandal Job Interviews

Filed under: Icky Icky PooSad SadFootballSex

Penn State logo

In the wake of the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal that rocked Penn State University, it makes sense that students may be a little concerned for their professional future.

Although it will be an uphill battle for ANY college student seeking a job following graduation in this economy, we're willing to bet more than a few students are wondering if a degree from PSU will make their search even harder.

Honestly, we don't think it will unless you were caught on camera flipping a news van or your Facebook profile picture features you downing a beer bong in front of Joe Paterno's campus statue.

Nevertheless, the school has sent out a reassuring letter to address their student's concerns and give them a few interviewing tips to distract potential employers from the devastating scandal, reading:

"Students may acknowledge that they are primarily concerned for the victims and also concerned for Penn State in these unsettling times. However, students should keep the focus on the job or internship for which they are applying and how they will excel in the opportunity. Students should note that they can only take personal responsibility for their individual actions. Talk about all of the good work accomplished at Penn State in building the skills and professional qualities in preparation for the position, and about the excitement to put those skills to work for the employer. Inform the employer or internship site that, if hired, you will reflect favorably on the employer through your good work, core values and skills obtained through our University."

Be prepared to address the issue as we're sure the employer will be curious for your opinion, but don't sweat it too much. Anybody who will judge you on the actions of others probably isn't the best person to work for anyway!

Kate Middleton Sends Leukemia Patient Hope In Personal Letter

Kate Middleton cancer letter

We can't imagine how happy Kate Middleton made 9-year-old leukemia patient Fabian Bate when she sent him a personalized letter, complete with St. James Palace letterhead.

The Duchess of Cambridge met the young boy while visiting the children's cancer center at the Royal Marsden Hospital, for which Prince William is serving as president.

In the letter the boy's family received last Friday, she praised his "belief and positive energy" and wrote:

"I was so touched by your strength of character. I will keep my fingers crossed that your health goes from strength to strength."

Kate's kind gesture proved words really can do wonders. The Bate family called the letter "a massive boost" to their morale which has diminished while watching Fabian battle the illness, saying:

"This is something to talk about with our family and friends. It's a real morale booster and it was really quite personalized to him and he has something to cherish for years to come."

The message of hope have come just in time for Fabian too.

He was first diagnosed with leukemia in 2006, but relapsed earlier this year and is awaiting test results that will determine whether he is able to receive a bone marrow transplant from one of his sisters.

We can't begin to imagine how tough this unfortunate situation is for Fabian and his family, but we wish them all the best as they continue to battle the life threatening illness.
