Animals are our friends, and Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood know this well.
That’s why PETA honored the two ladies at their first ever Vegan Fashion Awards.
Stella won an award for the Most Stylish Women’s Shoes while Vivienne nabbed Most Stylish Handbag.
Congrats, you two!
Maybe Stella and Vivenne will be Anne Hathaway's new favorite designers since she loves her animal-friendly fashion!

Where's some pomade when you need it?!
Diane Kruger looked gorgeous for the Inescapable premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday.
Karl Lagerfeld’s BFF stunned in a rhinestone encrusted black and gold Valentino Couture dress with fur trim along the shoulders and waist.
Her matching pointed black heels and clutch were perfect for such a busy dress, but what’s up with Diane's hair? Her top knot was chic but she had flyaways for days!
Minus the hair, we love this look, especially her ever-present arm candy, partner Joshua Jackson.

Being around Marc Jacobs will make you hate fur!
The designer’s ex-boy toy, Austin Armacost, shot an anti-fur ad for PETA, that's meant to target gays in the fashion industry.
The ad, which will debut to coincide with Fashion Week, shows the A-List star walking down a runway in his birthday suit

It's just like old times!
PETA is using The Row's $16,900 fur backpack to relaunch their campaign against the Olsen Twins, or as they like to call them, the Trollsens.
After seeing pictures of the multi-patchwork fur backpack, the animal rights group expressed their disapproval by releasing a statement:
"If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it's probably a Trollsen Twin—or someone wearing one of their new $16,000 totes, which are made from the fur and skins of innocent animals. What the Olsens lack in creativity, they try to make up for in shock value. Sadly, it's the foxes, calves, and alligators—who often have the fur ripped off them while they are still conscious and able to feel pain—who pay the dearest price."
It sounds like PETA just wanted an excuse to call them the Trollsens again. We haven't heard that name in forever!
Thoughts???

Time to go fishing for a new pair of shoes?
RayFish Footwear is getting ready to launch a range of customizable shoes made from genetically engineered stingray skin! EEK!
If you think that's weird, you haven't heard the best part!
Sneaker freaks will be able to select their very own design online from 29 patterns that scientists will then grow directly on a stingray before it's slaughtered and skinned to make a pair of $1800 shoes.

Big news!!!
After lengthy discussions with PETA, Puma has pledged to NEVER use fur or exotic animal skins in any of their products.
The sportswear brand's decision is receiving praise worldwide and they were even awarded the Compassionate Retailer Award from the animal rights' organization.
PETA's EVP Tracy Reiman says Puma going animal-free is HUGE:
"Every snakeskin shoe or piece of fur trim comes with a high price—and it's paid by animals who are driven mad in cages on fur farms or nailed to trees and skinned alive. When a company of Puma's prestige takes a tough stance against animal abuse, the entire industry and other businesses worldwide sit up and take notice."
We couldn't agree more! Hopefully more companies will follow in their footsteps!
What do you think about Puma's choice? Does it make you want to support them more???

Joanna Krupa would rather go naked than wear fur, and judging by the photo (above) we're A-OK with that!
On Sunday, the Maxim hottie unveiled her Be an Angel for Animals campaign for PETA to promote pet adoption.
As per usual, the campaign pushes
