OKCupid CEO Is Guilty Of Donating To Anti-Gay Causes Too, Even Though His Site Slammed Firefox Founder Brendan Eich For Doing The Same Thing!

Filed under: Gay Gay GayPolitikTech TalkBusiness Blitz

We’re not sure whether OKCupid CEO Sam Yagan literally lives in a glass house or not but he definitely just threw a stone that he shouldn’t have!

It was last week that his dating site shut down access to anyone trying to log in using Firefox!

The reason: the web browser’s parent company Mozilla was co-founded by a man named Brendan Eich who back in 2008 donated to the campaign trying to pass Prop 8 and effectively ban same-sex marriage in California!

OKCupid looked like they were standing up for gay rights with the move and gained attention around the world because of it.

But here’s the thing…

Head honcho Sam Yagan has contributed to anti-gay causes too!

It's a sheepstorm! Angry farmers herd sheep into the Lourve to protest the EU!

There was a sheepstorm in Paris but it certainly wasn't in the weather forecast.

French farmers wanted to protest the European Union's agricultural policy, so what better way to get the people's attention than by marching sheep into a public space.

But not just any public space… the Lourve!!

Several farmers and one seriously cute sheepdog herded

Kill 'em with kindness, that's Lorde's motto!

A few days before her Kansas show, the 17-year-old New Zealander found out about protestors planning to picket outside her concert on Friday!

Like any teenager nowadays, Lorde took to Twitter for some word-vomit and spewed her thoughts on the situation!

Her suggestions were pretty tame, but the songstress has since removed her tweets towards these picket yielding protesters, but you can read them (below)!

Justin Bieber’s Potential New Atlanta Neighbors Are Literally Protesting His Arrival!

justin bieber new atlanta neighbors staging protest

Apparently southern hospitality only goes so far!

Justin Bieber has been looking at buying a 16,000 sq. ft., seven bedroom Atlanta home on Blackland Road in the ritzy Buckhead district, where Usher also lives.

However, the residents are not happy about this, and are actually concerned for their childrens’ safety, since the Biebs has a need for speed.

So, they’ve organized a protest outside the 421 Blackland Road mansion, and have even started a Facebook event for it.

The protest will start at 6am, which many commenters said was a crazy early time to be awake, much less protesting. But the Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition is very serious, and described the event like this

Pussy Riot Members Were Beaten Outside The 2014 Sochi Olympics On Vladimir Putin's Orders! See The Brutal Attack HERE!

The violence and oppression HAS to stop!

Russian punk band Pussy Riot has released ultra graphic and heart-wrenching footage of what they endured during their visit to the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Two of the leaders were just freed from an almost two-year stint in prison, but that didn't stop them from once again standing up to their president, Vladimir Putin, with peaceful protest performances outside the games.

Evidently though, the prez doesn't like to be criticized!

Actually, Putin's Cossack regime was so peeved by their presence that they used a horsewhip to lash them when they tried to perform under the Olympic sign.

So much for his promise that everyone will be safe during the games!

The short political music video, titled Putin Will Teach You How To Love The Motherland, includes song lyrics like, “Sochi locked down/the Olympus under surveillance/Of guns and crowds of cops.”

But you don't need to speak the language to see that SERIOUS change is needed in the Russian government.

Ch-ch-check out their powerful protest (above)!!!

Chris Pine Calls Russia's Anti-Gay Laws "Archaic" & Urges The United States To Do MORE In Protest!

Chris Pine discusses his disdain for Russia anti -gay laws

Ugh! As IF we needed more of a reason to love Chris Pine!

The Jack Ryan star has spoken out against Russia's anti-gay laws and called them "archaic," while also urging the U.S. to protest the laws during the Olympics.

Just in case you live under a rock, the law he's talking about is the one aimed against the "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations among minors," which was placed into effect by Vladimir Putin.

It was supposed to be called the law against "homosexual propaganda," and it officially criminalizes all public acts that show support for "nontraditional relationships."

Gross.

But, Chris is insistent the United States do MORE to show our outrage at the laws than just by sending openly gay, former Olympians to cover the events.
