TriBeCa is one of Manhattan's most affluents neighborhoods.
The residents also happen to be totally dog crazy!
So it almost makes sense that a $642,000 dog park was built along the Hudson river.
What's insane is the whole project, including clearing the ground between Piers 25 and 26 to make way for the dog park, cost $4.8 MILLION!!
How many good programs could that money have gone to?
Those were federal funds that could've been spent on subways, bridges, and various animal charities!
Let's hope the dog run is the nicest dog run in the history of time because that's a whole lotta dough that coulda gone elsewhere!! Like animal shelters!!!
