Our beloved Andrew Garfield unfortunately didn’t get the Tony Awards win for Best Performance By An Actor In A Featured Role In A Play, but instead, it was a recipient who was just as worthy!
That’s right, SMASH‘s Christian Borle took home the win for his work in Peter and the Starcatcher, beating out Michael Cumpsty, Tom Edden, and Jeremy Shamos!
Aww! Such a sweetheart!
Easily one of the nicest speeches of the evening, and so cute to see his mom and sister looking on from audience, clearly so very proud!
