Glee Gets A Third Season!!

Fox REALLY has faith in Glee because they just picked it up for a third season!!
And they haven’t even started filming season two yet!
The show is currently the number one new scripted series among adults 18-49 and 18-34, with an average of 9.4 million viewers every week.
Fox Network’s Peter Rice praises the show, saying, “In just one year, Glee has transcended the television landscape and emerged as a global pop culture phenomenon.”
Fox Entertainment’s Kevin Reilly adds:

“Everything about Glee ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ from the concept to the characters to the marketing ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ has been innovative and risky, but with [series creator] Ryan Murphy tapping into the zeitgeist, the risk has paid off with this truly remarkable series. Glee has one of the most active, devoted fan bases I├óΓé¼Γäóve ever seen, and we couldn├óΓé¼Γäót be more thrilled to give Gleeks a third season of their favorite show.├óΓé¼┬¥

And Ryan Murphy is already hinting that producers are already preparing for the third season, saying:

“It├óΓé¼Γäós been a whirlwind year ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ from shooting the pilot to performing at the White House to the concert tour that began last week ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and yet we all feel like we├óΓé¼Γäóve just begun this amazing musical journey. We think our Gleeks worldwide are going to love what we├óΓé¼Γäóll have in store for them in seasons two and three.├óΓé¼┬¥

We hope that means that a Britney episode is in the works!
