Funny Girl Returns To Broadway!

The show that made Barbra Streisand famous, Funny Girl, is being revived on Broadway.
Bartlet Sher will direct the six week out-of-town tryout in late 2011 in preparation for a quick Broadway transfer later in the season.
Rights owner and producer Bob Boyett said:

“I don’t have any other details, or anything on locations…Nothing is really pulled together except Bart Sher. There have been a few Hollywood types who have expressed interest…but we’re also open to going with an unknown actress.”
