Looks like the cops MAY have given Paris a fighting chance for not following proper procedure.
When Paris and her boyfriend Cy Waits were pulled over in Vegas, a source says that Paris wasn’t searched on the scene, which goes against procedure. Here’s what the source had to say about it:
“Cops discovered the cocaine inside the security offices where Paris was taken. Because Paris was taken away from the scene where the car was pulled over, this could potentially be an illegal search of a person.

“Las Vegas Metro didn’t follow standard procedures when Paris was arrested and her lawyer will be talking to the D.A. about this.”

“Paris says she changed the purse she was carrying at the last minute last night because the one she had didn’t coordinate with the rest of her outfit the way she wanted. She says she borrowed a friend’s purse because it matched better.”
Paris’s Vegas attorney David Chesnoff will be taking the case to the DA, under the argument that the amount of cocaine was negligible, that the purse wasn’t hers, and that she was illegally searched.
