It pays to have a high-powered attorney!
Under Paris Hilton‘s plea deal, the heiress will be avoiding jail time after her cocaine bust in Las Vegas last month.
She plead guilty to two misdemeanors and will serve one year probation, pay a $2,000 fine, and serve 200 hours of community service.
Lucky break!!
In the plea agreement, the district attorney states:
“Defendant shall stay out of trouble. Defendant agrees that an arrest for any charge, excluding minor traffic violations for which a citation is issued, shall result in the immediate termination of her probation and the execution of the suspended sentences.”
The agreement also states that the deal should “prompt Hilton to stay out of trouble.”
Hmm. Let’s see if that happens.
