Due to one of the cast members taking a leave to deal with a family matter, Billie Joe Armstrong was asked to step in and understudy for a pivotal role in his band’s rock opera, American Idiot.
The Green Day frontman is slated to be taking over the role of St. Jimmy for eight performances, starting this Tuesday.
What a marketing ploy! They really should of thought of doing this sooner!
