Broadway Wants You To Get Drunk

No need to keep things swanky in the theater anymore, folks!
Times are tough! Time to get drizunk!
Sources are reporting that in the Playbills being handed out at the show Fela!, there is an insert announcing that there are bars on two levels of the theater, open to the patrons through the beginning of the second act! Not only that, but the show has created specialty drinks that mix three kinds of liquor and come in cup equipped with a lid and a straw for your convenience!
Ha! Wow! Might as well go to a monster truck rally with this kind classiness in the joint!
Bet Patti LaBelle is going to love it when one of those lids hits her dead in the face during her opening number! Ha!
