Good friends show up.
And that’s exactly what George and Amal Clooney are doing for Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber as they mourn the death of their son, Presley.
George has been good friends with Rande since the early ’90s. They met in New York City. Rande had a bar called The Whiskey, and George liked going there.
In 2015 Rande told The Times:
“We had a couple of drinks. We started hanging out. We just enjoyed each other’s company.”
They’ve been close friends ever since — even starting their own tequila line, Casamigos.
So when George heard the news about Presley Gerber’s tragic passing, he and Amal were on it.

They were seen arriving at Cindy and Rande’s home in Los Angeles earlier this week, and they’ve stuck with them.
Per a new report from People magazine:
“George, Amal and a few of their other close friends have been taking shifts staying with the family so they aren’t alone.”
The source says they’re “helping with arrangements” and being a support however they can, for “whatever else the family needs.”
That includes Kaia, as the insider notes George has always close with the kids, too.
Speaking of the Shards actress, she has a strong branch of support, too.
On Thursday, TMZ reported that Kaia’s cat Tony had gone missing in the Hollywood Hills.
Her boyfriend Lewis Pullman and friends Jake Shane and Carissa Gallo were seen in the neighborhood posting “MISSING” flyers. Hopefully Tony’s found safe and sound.
