RENT To Be Performed On GLEE!

About time! This is the one we’ve been waiting for!

Lots and lots of updates have been coming out of McKinely High in the last 48 hours thanks to the cast of Glee snagging the top nod at the Golden Globes and the press hounding them all for upcoming details. (Big thanks to all of you who did that, BTW!)

We’ve heard a lot of great news so far, from Anne Hathaway’s confirmed guest spot to Coach Beiste making her singing debut, but we have to admit that THIS news piqued our interest above all other tidbits.

While on the red carpet, Amber Riley confessed to sources that in an upcoming episode, her character will be facing off against Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry in a much-anticpated diva-off! The pair will flaunt their golden voices by performing Take Me or Leave Me from Rent.

Now that’s going to be one hell of a number! If we close our eyes, we can already see Lea tearing into Idina Menzel’s opening verse and Amber coming in to take charge as Joanne! (Make Fredi Walker proud, girl!)

We have such high hopes for this! Don’t let us down ladies!
