We hope so! We think he gives very good advice and we certainly like what he stands for.
Dan Savage is best known as an advice columnist and a contributor to The Onion. You may also remember him from the special MTV did on the It Gets Better Project, as Dan was a major element to its success.
Having seen what he can do already, MTV has ordered a pilot called Savage Love, in which Dan would be the star. Cameras are slated to follow Dan as he tours college campuses, taking questions from students about sex and relationships. His advice can be brutally honest, which we imagine the network sees as a bankable attribute and Dan doesn’t shy away from being a bit graphic when talking about sex.
Pair this with Skins and you’ve got one hell of a lineup on Monday nights. (The PTC’s heads will explode!)
We’d love to see what he would do with his own show. He’s definitely a personality.
