Nope, but he would’ve had to if he was covering all of the crew costs for the next month.
After getting so much backlash from the media about leaving his Two & A Half Men crew hanging with no pay while he goes to rehab (again), Charlie Sheen offered to foot one-third of the costs to keep everyone employed. Allow us to explain to you how much money he’s actually dropping here:
According to sources, it costs the studio somewhere between $300,000 to $400,000 per episode to pay the handy men and women who keep the show rolling. During Charlie’s absence, the show is expected to run behind at least four episodes. So that total, times four episodes, divided by the one-third Charlie has promised… Sheen owes his people anywhere from $400,000 to $530,000.
Now, if he had manned up offered to take on all the financial burden, he would have forfeited almost an entire week’s pay for him…which comes to about 1.2 million bucks.
But no one is that generous, right?
