Martin Sheen Makes A PSA On Mental Illness

Talk about irony!
Several years ago, Martin Sheen got involved with the Peace of Mind Project.
The organization states:

“There is no poverty greater than the poverty of serious mental illness as experienced by the last outcasts of our society. This website seeks to effectively raise awareness for the mentally ill and create an awakening of the American conscience by telling to truth of mental illness to all Americans. Once we have heard the truth, we can begin to eradicate the stigma which has been the biggest stumbling block in getting millions of Americans the proper medical and social benefits they so desperately need.”

And to help support the cause, Martin did a public service announcement about mental illness.
